"What?" Soo-jin asked.
"Nothing." Ji-woo shook his head. "Just surprised you know how to appreciate," he said with sarcasm.
"Are you saying I'm ungrateful?" Soo-jin asked.
"Yes." Ji-woo nodded without hesitation.
"Ji-woo." Soo-jin called coldly, but his eyes showed he wasn't angry.
"And not only that. You're not a nice person."
Soo-jin raised a brow. "Then why are you here with me?"
"Because I like you." Ji-woo's eyes curved into a smile.
The bluntness surprised Soo-jin. This wasn't the first time Ji-woo had confessed the same thing, and he was still shocked.
"Don't say stupid things," he scolded. "Eat."
"It's not stupid," Ji-woo muttered as he played with his food before taking a spoonful into his mouth.
Soo-jin ate in silence, eyes on his notebook, reading.
"Should I call you scholar?" Ji-woo teased with a smile.
"Eat your food," Soo-jin said dryly.
"Such a fun-killer," Ji-woo grumbled as he chewed.
Minutes later, Ji-woo stood up to clear and return the plates.
