"Hehh… Lord Garp actually threw a punch at the giant Tailed Beast Bomb?"
"Is that even possible?"
"Can a human's fist, no, mere taijutsu, really withstand a Tailed Beast Bomb of that scale?"
After Duy called out, "Garp-sensei, you're awake?"
The tense, panicked Konoha shinobi in the Valley of the End barely managed to calm themselves.
In the moments before, they had endlessly imagined how Garp would deal with the incoming giant Tailed Beast Bomb.
Originally, many of the Konoha ninjas had expected Garp to use some unprecedented secret technique or forbidden jutsu to neutralize or divert the Tailed Beast Bomb.
What they never anticipated was that, faced with the massive attack, Garp would leap high into the air and, in his usual headstrong manner, punch the Tailed Beast Bomb directly.
The sheer visual and psychological impact of this scene made even Orochimaru, Shikaku, and the others' hearts leap into their throats.
It wasn't that they doubted Garp's fist, it was that the Tailed Beast Bomb, painstakingly condensed by Killer B over eleven minutes, was incomprehensibly massive.
Its sheer presence was oppressive and terrifying, far more alarming than a meteor falling from the sky to crash directly above their heads.
A Tailed Beast Bomb of this magnitude, even a tiny fragment spilling out, could easily obliterate the Valley of the End more than ten times over.
Yet Garp seemed utterly unaware of the implications of such a colossal Tailed Beast Bomb.
Perhaps he simply didn't care.
Facing the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki's giant Tailed Beast Bomb, he resembled an eagle soaring across the skies, looking down upon the world.
With this unshakable confidence, he drove his fist straight into the approaching Tailed Beast Bomb.
The collision of Garp's fist and the massive Tailed Beast Bomb unleashed a thunderous boom that reverberated across the entire Konoha Forest.
Even those ten miles away, like Hiruzen and the others at the Konoha gates, heard it clearly.
Inside the Valley of the End, Orochimaru and the others were shaken to their core by the deafening blast, their blood practically boiling, eyes seeing stars, vision wobbling until it became blurred.
The sheer force of just the fist meeting the Tailed Beast Bomb was enough to make even mighty figures like Orochimaru, Tsunade, and Fugaku feel sick, as if they might vomit.
At that moment, the top Konoha forces, chest tight, hearts feeling as if gripped by invisible hands, couldn't help but wonder.
If a full-scale collision between Garp's fist and a Tailed Beast Bomb occurred, could they survive?
But just as that thought formed, their blurred vision caught a sight that emptied every thought from their minds, leaving them utterly stunned.
Crack…
The Tailed Beast Bomb struck by Garp's punch had initially unleashed a wave of sound that swept through the Konoha Forest, crushing the statues of Madara and Hashirama below in the Valley of the End.
But after that, it caused no further catastrophic destruction.
Neither Orochimaru and Tsunade nor the distant Killer B and the ABC trio saw the apocalyptic explosion they had imagined.
No blinding flash rivaling the sun, no sandstorm that could blot out the sky, no chakra shockwaves that could erase everything from sight.
Instead, there was only a series of crisp cracking sounds.
From the center of Garp's fist, dozens of hair-raising fissures snaked across the surface of the giant Tailed Beast Bomb like winding pythons.
In an instant, the asteroid-sized Tailed Beast Bomb was covered in intersecting cracks, looking like a shattered black glass orb on the verge of collapse.
Garp cast a glance at the precarious giant Tailed Beast Bomb before him, as if a gust of wind could tear it apart entirely.
Then, under the gaze of hundreds of dazed, vacant, and lifeless eyes, he casually withdrew his fist from the surface of the bomb.
A black fist imprint, minuscule compared to the Tailed Beast Bomb's volume, immediately caught the attention of the keen-eyed Fugaku, Shisui, and Hizashi.
Whether the Tailed Beast Bomb could no longer sustain itself or Garp's withdrawal served as the final straw, the moment his fist pulled back, the massive orb suspended in the sky, once dimming the entire Konoha Forest, suddenly began to crack.
Purple-black fragments of Tailed Beast chakra peeled off like shards of glass from a mirror, tumbling downward.
Shhhh….
Many had feared that these fragments, like mini Tailed Beast Bombs, would trigger massive explosions upon impact.
Yet as the Tailed Beast chakra shards drifted down from the fractured bomb, they disintegrated the moment they touched the ground.
Trees crumbled like snowflakes meeting fire, one after another.
When Garp finally descended, stepping onto the sole intact statue in the Valley of the End, his own, what had once hung in the sky like a black spherical lamp was utterly shattered, as if it had never existed at all.
"..."
From Garp waking, to ascending into the air, throwing the punch, and finally reducing the giant Tailed Beast Bomb to shards… every ninja who witnessed it stood frozen in place, staring up at Garp atop the statue as if beholding a living god stepped out of legend and into reality.
