Blood would be spilled tonight. Murder would follow close behind.
The moment I understood what was unfolding before us, I had Halle weave a binding spell to prevent the wolves from completing their transformation. The magic wouldn't last long with so many bodies fighting against it and Halle's energy already stretched thin, but she possessed enough power to grant us precious minutes. I barked orders for every human to evacuate immediately.
