Chapter 175 - Magneto's Ambition

On her way to the hangar, Ororo met Iceman and Colossus.

Iceman glanced at the briefcase in Ororo's hand, his eyes flickering as he said, "Ororo, are you going to Aaron Industries to see Mr. Miracle?"

Iceman and Colossus were among the oldest and most outstanding Mutants in this class of studentsa and their Mutant abilities were also good.

They could pass the X-Men test at any time and become official X-Men, working with her.

So Ororo did not deliberately hide anything from the two, smiling and nodding. "Is there anything you need?"

Iceman looked at Colossus, who scratched his head. "Ororo, do you know where Kitty went?"

Iceman then added, "And Anna. We wanted to hang out with them, but we searched the whole school and couldn't find them."

A hint of sympathy flashed in Ororo's eyes after hearing this.

"Anna and Kitty went to Aaron Industries with Mr. Aaron. They need to resolve their Mutant ability issues."

Ororo briefly explained to the two.

Upon hearing this, Colossus's expression changed. He actually had feelings for Kitty, but just as he was about to pursue her, someone else snatched her away.

Colossus said bitterly, "Will they come back?"

Ororo thought for a moment and said, "They definitely will."

But whether they would still be 'whole' when they returned was hard to say. After all, the Mutant school was their 'maiden home', so visiting was normal.

These words went through Ororo's mind, but she did not say them out loud, so as not to hurt two more fragile hearts.

Colossus lowered his head and said nothing.

In contrast, Iceman didn't show much sadness, his eyes flickering slightly.

"Mr. Aaron must be very powerful."

Ororo nodded. "After all, he is Mr. Miracle."

"Alright, I'm leaving now. You two be careful at school. Don't go out casually during this time. Perhaps soon, Mutants will receive some good news."

Ororo waved to the two, carrying the briefcase, and headed directly to the hangar.

Iceman said thoughtfully, "Colossus, do you know what's in that box?"

Colossus asked in confusion, "I heard Aaron needs our blood to research a gene-perfecting potion to help us better control our abilities."

"You didn't know?"

Iceman's heart tightened. "Of course, I was just confirming."

"Alright, I'm leaving too, goodbye."

Colossus looked at Iceman's back, very confused.

But he quickly fell into the pain of a broken heart, and unknowingly walked to the cafeteria, where he saw Scott and Logan drinking together, arms around each other's shoulders.

Colossus's heart stirred, he had found his organization.

A moment later, the three burly men drank heartily together.

After leaving Colossus, Iceman turned and went to a nearby sewer.

"Erik, we have a problem."

"Rogue has been taken by Aaron and Jean."

"Aaron? Which Aaron? Wait, Mr. Miracle!"

On the other end of the phone, Magneto's face was grim.

Before he could process that, the other party dropped another bombshell.

"What the f*ck! Charles sent all the Mutant blood data to Aaron?"

"What is he doing? Voluntarily handing over his leverage to humans, letting them decide the fate of Mutants?!" Erik (Magneto) couldn't help but curse.

That was Aaron!

If he obtained so many Mutant genes, would he research a targeted genocide virus?

Charles is a sinner!

"Brotherhood, assemble!"

Erik waved a hand, and the distant Cerebro helmet automatically flew over, fitting precisely onto his head.

At the castle gate, Toad, who was sprawled motionless on the railing like a frog, swallowed a fly with a flick of his head, and upon hearing the call to assemble, leaped dozens of meters away with a single jump.

He arrived at the assembly point in a few seconds.

Another man, with a somewhat dull expression, walked out of a room and then jumped down from a height of several meters.

With a crack, he sprained his ankle.

Erik looked over. Sabretooth was on the ground, struggling to get up.

"Useless."

Erik shook his head, his hands behind his back, a metal disc beneath his feet lifting him into the air, showcasing his noble elegance.

"Boss, is there work?" Toad asked cautiously.

Erik held his head high, looking up at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle.

"That traitor Charles sent the blood data of over a hundred Mutants to Aaron Industries, handing it over to Aaron."

"His foolish actions will plunge Mutants into an abyss of no return."

"With Aaron's research in biological genes, he alone is worth all the biology experts in the world combined."

"We absolutely cannot let him get those genetic data, or within a month, Mutants will be killed by a damned gene virus."

Toad's face paled upon hearing this.

"Mr. Miracle… would also kill people?"

"In their eyes, we are not considered people." Erik snorted coldly.

Just as he did not view ordinary people as a race, those damned bastards would love nothing more than to wipe out all Mutants.

Conflicts between the two sides have erupted continuously, lasting for decades without cessation.

Clearly, they are the next step in human evolution, the New Humans, and should rightfully control the world's discourse.

But those remnants of the old era still clung to their power, and vainly attempted to oppress New Humans to maintain their own authority.

He, Magneto, must rectify Charles's mistake.

"Although Aaron has saved countless lives, he is ultimately a member of humanity. We cannot put a noose around our own necks and hand over our lives to him."

"More importantly…"

"Anna is in his hands."

Eric glanced at the instrument in the center of the hall.

This was a gene converter. It could activate the X-gene in humans, allowing it to be expressed phenotypically.

He, Erik, would create a world with only Mutants.

All humans would evolve synchronously!

If there were only Mutants in the world, then there would be no persecution of Mutants.

And he, Erik, might even become the king of the new world.

But this machine required powerful magnetic field strength.

Erik wanted to live until the new world was born, so he couldn't die. Therefore, someone else with electromagnetic abilities would have to die in his place.

Rogue thus entered his sights.

It was a pity that Sabretooth, that fool, was defeated by the X-Men, allowing Rogue to slip away. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so much trouble now.

Useless thing!

Erik glared at the bewildered Sabretooth again, then flung his hand, ignoring his two subordinates, and led the way out.

"Depart immediately for Aaron Industries. You must bring both Rogue and the briefcase back."
