S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Triskelion Building.
When Fury learned of Aaron's actions, he was stunned on the spot.
It felt familiar.
Fury sighed inwardly, a smile appearing at the corner of his lips.
He had received professional training. Unless he couldn't help it, he absolutely wouldn't laugh.
Sometimes, happiness doesn't disappear, it merely transfers.
If only I was robbed, that would naturally be a sad thing. But if everyone was robbed, then it became a happy thing.
Fury was very happy. He even had an extra bowl of soup during lunch.
Of course, watching the joke was one thing, but Fury was pondering.
What exactly was Aaron trying to do with these actions? Did he have another big move planned?
"Forget it, given the current situation, what more can I do?" Fury shook his head.
After he returned, he checked the internal affairs. What he saw gave him a great shock.
Alexander Pierce had actually bypassed him, the Director, several times to directly issue orders to subordinates. Moreover, some actions were not recorded in the files, making it impossible to trace them.
Now, even sitting in his own office, he felt uneasy, as if someone might rush in with a grenade at any moment.
In this situation, how could he calmly investigate Aaron?
If he wasn't already bald, his hair probably would have turned white overnight.
Fury was worried but things were completely different on Aaron's side.
Facts proved that power and capital were indeed good things.
If it were any other person, they would have to fight their way in and rack their brains to collect all the genes. But he only needed to speak, and they delivered everything, not missing a single one.
The call was made in the morning, and the items arrived in the afternoon.
The service was thoughtful and fast.
Five-star rating!
It was still that private storage room.
On the square, thick wooden table, test tubes and petri dishes were neatly arranged in dense rows. Every bottle here represented the life of a Mutant.
Aaron couldn't help but sigh. "Hell is empty as all the devils are here in the mortal world."
Human sympathy often relies on visual impact. Tragedies that haven't been witnessed firsthand are often just cold numbers, unable to touch the heart. Only when these cruel realities are laid bare before one's eyes do people sigh with sorrow and generate sympathy and pity.
The cruelest side of this world was presented right before him.
Whenever this happened, those who witnessed it would lament the fragility of life.
Although Mutants possess extraordinary abilities, they are still a part of humanity. Their offspring with ordinary humans still have the ability to reproduce. From a biological perspective, they are essentially no different from ordinary people.
However, it was precisely this extraordinary power that triggered human greed and fear.
The higher-ups feared their strength, ambitious people coveted their abilities, and common citizens rejected them out of jealousy and fear.
This was reality. A cruel and naked reality.
What Aaron could do was become stronger, not become one of the victims.
After thinking for a moment, he took a picture of the items here and sent it to Jean.
He knew Charles would soon see these as well.
As for what actions the Mutant Academy would take, Aaron did not care.
He was not a cold-blooded person, but if the Mutants themselves weren't trying to solve their own problems, wouldn't it be meddling for him, an outsider, to interfere in the internal affairs of the Mutants?
Of course, if Charles and the others wanted to seek some help, Aaron wouldn't mind providing some support. He considered it compensation for these genes.
After sighing, Aaron began to focus on the matter at hand.
He absorbed bottle after bottle of reagents into the Primordial Furnace for smelting.

Although the types of Mutant genes here were numerous, few provided any practical enhancement to Aaron.
According to the settings of Mutants, most Mutants' abilities remained at the useless Level One or the barely useful Level Two. This group primarily exhibited physical changes.
For example, Mutant abilities such as growing thorns all over the body, being abnormally obese, being covered in feathers, having a bird beak, or chicken feet.
Aside from looking uglier than ordinary people, their actual strength was no different from ordinary people. They struggled greatly in human society and were often regarded as aliens.
Level Two Mutants did not look significantly different from ordinary people and could barely integrate into normal human society. However, their superpowers were flawed or very weak to some extent.
They had some special advantages compared to ordinary people, but they were not very useful.
The genes of this group accounted for the majority, and most held no positive traits for Aaron. They could only enrich the Primordial Furnace database.
Only when reaching Level Three did their abilities possess some value. Even so, many abilities had already lost their appeal to Aaron.
For example, psychic abilities, Survival of the Fittest, Super Brain, Super Strength, and the corrosive saliva and insect wings.
Although the haul was not substantial, Aaron was still satisfied.
After all, this was merely the result of a casual suggestion he made, what was there to complain about?
Aaron shifted his gaze toward William and the Mutant Academy.
William had a Mutant research institution, just like Sentinel Services. Sentinel Services had already provided the items.
And what about you?
There's still no news.
The most crucial thing is, everyone else has sent something, but you haven't.
Are you looking down on me?
Aaron was unhappy, and the consequences would be severe.
