Chapter 99 - Erasing Ego's Clone!

Ego's expression was grim. He hadn't expected that a simple family reunion would attract so many strange beings. More importantly, Aaron didn't acknowledge him. Instead, he had become the so-called God King of Asgard.

Tony and Coulson were dumbfounded.

They were supposed to be brothers, but you suddenly transformed into the king of the gods, the lord of the nine realms?

"What the hell is going on?"

"Why did Aaron become the king of the gods after two days?"

"Is today some kind of large-scale anime convention?"

Tony looked at Coulson and found that he was also quite bewildered at the moment.

He seemed to be saying something.

"Director, it's not good. Aaron has become the King of Asgard."

"What?!"

In the Triskelion Building, Fury sat up straight, his mind full of questions after hearing what Coulson said.

No, I was just thinking about it, but you actually dared to do it?

You didn't occupy New York for a week. Instead, you ran off to occupy Asgard.

So you look down on the United States, you look down on Earth.

"Motherf*cker!"

Coulson asked, "Director, what should we do now?"

"The legendary Odin, and Thor and Loki are all here, along with about a thousand warriors?"

"Once a fight breaks out, I'm worried about New York..."

"Evacuate New York immediately!" Fury immediately notified Agent Hill after hearing this.

"What about the Military? Tell them to come and help quickly!"

"Uh, Director."

"They've already arrived."

Coulson looked at the fighter jets and armed helicopters rapidly approaching from a distance, surrounding the area completely. He also heard the roar of armored vehicles and tank engines.

A small Osborn Industries had suddenly brought together multiple forces.

The Military, S.H.I.E.L.D., Gods, and aliens had all arrived.

"Master?"

Mantis looked at the sudden change in the situation, feeling somewhat lost and helpless.

Ego remained very calm. No matter how many humans there were, he didn't care. Only Aaron and Odin were worthy of his attention.

"No matter what, I will take you with me." Ego made up his mind.

Ego didn't understand why Aaron possessed the same Celestial Power as him. Could it be that he had dealt with the Celestial Seed?

Theoretically, the celestial flower he left behind did indeed contain his genetic makeup and abilities. That was another him.

It was just that he couldn't understand how Aaron had done it.

This was very unscientific.

Nor theological.

Hearing this, Aaron became a little annoyed.

"Your child is named Peter Jason Quill. Go and claim him as your son, don't come looking for me."

"If you're so eager to die, then I'll grant your wish."

Aaron suddenly disappeared, and when he reappeared, he was already behind Ego.

The latter's expression tightened, and he quickly turned around to create a solid energy shield.

Considering this was his own company, Aaron had already retracted ninety-nine percent of his power, yet he still easily broke through Ego's hastily created shield and kicked him towards Odin's direction.

Odin's reaction was equally swift, raising Gungnir and transforming into a starlight.

Ego tried his best to control his body to dodge, but facing Odin, who had extremely rich combat experience, his left arm was still torn off.

"Very good, you have angered a God. Since you are unwilling to come with me, I will have to tie you up and take you."

Ego's amiable smile receded, and a pale blue light surged from his wound. His matter-reorganization ability allowed him to quickly restore the missing part.

"Do you think this is a game? You still have time to babble." Aaron's voice suddenly sounded from behind him.

Ego's stern face suddenly froze, and a sharp pain shot through his chest. Then, a hand broke through his chest, holding a beating heart.

He looked at his heart in surprise, then at the gradually dissipating Aaron in front of him.

"A clone?"

"Heh, what a weak God."

Aaron exerted a little force, and the heart burst with a bang.

Then, with another kick, he sent Ego's remnant body flying hundreds of meters, crashing into a building with a boom!

Coulson's eyelids twitched.

That building...

It was a secret base purchased by S.H.I.E.L.D. to monitor Osborn.

So, since it's not your building, you don't feel bad at all and just mess it up?

"I'm sorry, whose building was that? My secretary will contact them later." Aaron smiled at Coulson.

The latter's lips twitched. "No need, perhaps you can talk to me about the repair issues."

You absolutely did that on purpose!

However, what could Coulson do?

S.H.I.E.L.D.'s methods were useless in front of Aaron.

He could only force a smile in response.

"You guys are so dishonorable, it's too much."

Amidst the swirling smoke, Ego emerged, dragging a body that was only half intact.

Tony and Coulson were somewhat shocked. Are you an unkillable cockroach? The building was destroyed, and you're still not dead?

As a Celestial, even if he was just a clone, Ego wasn't that easy to kill.

All the injuries he sustained were from Aaron's claw and kick. The materials on Earth simply couldn't cause effective damage to him.

Ego's rage had burned to his chest. He wanted to let these ignorant Gods know the power of a true God.

Whoosh—

Ego grunted, turning his head to look at Loki, who had appeared at some unknown time, holding a dagger and stabbing him in the kidney and liver.

"You're not dead yet?" Loki was greatly shocked.

Ego was furious.

Earthlings were too unreasonable. Not only did they gang up on him, but they also pulled the same trick twice, deceiving him with illusions.

"I am a God!"

Pale blue electric light flashed, and a brilliant glow appeared in Ego's hand.

Loki's face changed drastically. Before the lightning struck, Aaron waved his hand, and Loki suddenly appeared beside Thor, causing Ego's lightning to miss.

"You all deserve to die!"

Ego fell into a frenzy, his mental state precarious.

He came here with sincerity, but what he got in return was having his heart dug out, his liver removed, and his kidney stabbed. Even if he was a Clone, he couldn't withstand such torment.

However, Aaron was not the type to wait for the boss to go berserk.

He flew into the sky, his hands transforming into machine guns, and beam after beam of particle streams continuously bombarded Ego's body. Each beam of light tore off a part of his body.

One after another, after his body reorganized several times, the recovery speed greatly decreased, no longer able to keep up with the rate of destruction.

"Bastard!"

"I'll kill you!"

Ego was slowly erased in his impotent rage.

After a while, the world finally fell silent.

However...

Coulson looked at S.H.I.E.L.D.'s building, which had been razed to the ground, and met Aaron's inquiring gaze.

He forced a smile and said, "Perfect, we don't have to consider demolition work anymore, we can start rebuilding directly."

What a sin!

Aaron nodded, satisfied. "I'll have Norman connect with you. I won't short you a single cent."

Is it a matter of how much? Does S.H.I.E.L.D. lack that little bit of money?

This is a matter of reputation.
