I. The Ki Anomaly
The air above the Capsule Corporation training camp was shaking. Not by the wind, but by the sheer density of energy emanating from Son Goku. Dressed in his orange and blue dogi, he floated over the charred earth, smiling widely.
-Wow, Gohan! I'm almost ready! Give me your best shot! - shouted Goku, his voice vibrating with enthusiasm.
Gohan, in his basic form, sweated profusely from several meters away. His father was training with an intensity he had not seen since the Tournament of Power.
-Dad, you've already broken three sound barriers today! - Gohan protested.
-But I didn't break my own limit! Come on!
Just as Goku was preparing to transform, the sky stopped being blue. A color that did not exist in his universe-an acidic mixture of bright green, electric purple and abyssal black-tore reality a hundred meters away.
A Dimensional Rift has opened.
The phenomenon did not seem dangerous at first, but chaotic. It absorbed the air, earth and surrounding energy with an inhuman voracity. Gohan tried to fly towards Goku, but the gravity of the Rift was too strong.
-Dad, careful! That energy is not natural! - Gohan warned.
Goku, always attracted by a great challenge, stopped his impulse. The Rift did not seem evil to him; it seemed interesting. However, before I could analyze it, a purple energy beam came out of the portal and enveloped him.
He felt a violent pull, as if thousands of invisible hands were tearing him apart at an atomic level. The world became a tunnel of shrill colors and distorted sounds. Despite the pain, Goku clenched his fists and screamed with all his might, trying to break the force of attraction.
It was useless. With a sonic pop that made the planet Earth vibrate, Goku disappeared.
II. The Giant's Cry
When the light returned, Goku was not on scorched earth, but on a hilly terrain covered with giant trees and an air loaded with a smell of ozone and salt. He looked around. The sky was normal blue, but this planet's Ki was completely different: small faint flashes of energy that the people of this world called magic.
Suddenly, a shadow the size of a blimp covered the sun.
-Wow! What a big man! - exclaimed Goku, with a smile that widened when he saw the challenge.
In front of him stood a Terrestrial Goliath, a three-headed beast covered with scales as hard as diamond and a height of sixty meters. The monster had not seen him; he was busy attacking an ancient stone structure in the distance.
Goku felt that his body had retained some of the Rift's chaotic energy. His Ki felt heavy, as if he had been inactive for too long. He decided it was better not to transform immediately.
The beast roared and threw a stream of fire at the stone structure, which turned out to be a guild of magicians.
From the ruins of the guild, a lone and armored figure jumped to face the monster.
III. The Clash of the Titans
The figure was a scarlet-haired woman with serious eyes. It was completely covered by a silver battle armor and wielded a huge sword with magical engravings.
It was Erza Scarlet (from Fairy Tail), and she was furious.
-I will not allow you to destroy Magnolia, demon! - cried Erza, channeling magic into his sword.
The Terrestrial Goliath laughed (a terrible sound, like the impact of rocks) and struck with one of its claws. Ezra managed to summon his Wheel of Heaven armor, reequipping himself in an instant, and dodged the blow, but the shockwave threw it against a nearby building.
¡It's very strong! thought Erza, feeling his reserves of magic quickly deplete against the almost impenetrable scales of the monster. The Goliath was of a level of calamity that she could barely manage on her own.
As the Goliath raised one of his claws to crush it, an orange blur appeared on the battlefield.
Goku didn't think twice. The monster was attacking a girl.
Using speed that exceeded the speed of light, Goku appeared just below the falling claw. Untransformed, unprepared, he just raised a fist.
The punch was not a technique; it was a statement of intent.
The Ground Goliath's claw, which could pulverize mountains, stopped flat. The diamond scales cracked with a dry sound, and unimaginable pain ran through the body of the beast.
Goku pushed up harder. Goliath could not withstand the pressure; his legs gave way, and the 60-meter creature crashed into the ground, creating a crater of 100 meters.
The impact was so brutal that the magic of the city of Magnolia felt stirred.
Goku floated over the immobilized monster, scratching his head.
-Wow! What resistance! You need more training, my friend, he said, not noticing that he had saved the day.
IV. The Meeting with the Lady of Steel
Erza Scarlet was in Shock. He re-equipped himself with his Nakama's Heart armor and ran into the crater. Earth's Goliath was alive, but unconscious, moaning.
Then he looked at the man who had knocked him down with a single punch.
A thin man, in a ridiculous suit, with a hairdo and a silly smile. The power that emanated was pure, but so vast that not even his magic of re-equipping could comprehend it.
—¡You! Who are you? What kind of magic did you use? - Erza demanded, pointing his sword at him. His voice was high-pitched, mingled with the fury of meddling and a terrifying fascination for the power he had witnessed.
Goku landed in front of her, happy to have found the person he was fighting.
-Hello! I'm Goku. Excuse me, do you know where my house is? I was training and a hole absorbed me, but this fight was so much fun!
Erza blinked. It was impossible. The most powerful being he had ever known, the savior of his guild, looked like a lost child. Her warrior instinct screamed Danger, but her heart wondered Who is this man and why is he so strong?
—A hole? Training? You have just defeated an SSS class calamity with a blow without magic! - shouted, feeling that his own abilities were reduced to dust.
Goku tilted his head, confused. - Magic? Oh, you mean my Ki? It's just my energy, and it's a lot of fun to use! Hey, do you have anything to eat around here? I got a huge appetite after that.
Goku's simplicity and hunger disarmed the wrath of Ezra. She, the Lady of Steel, suddenly found herself not with an enemy, but with a force of innocent nature that had just turned her world upside down. A spark of something new, an attraction based purely on the supremacy of her strength and the purity of her soul, ignited in the heart of the sorceress.
—My name is Erza Scarlet. And no, I don't know where your house is. But you... you are my problem now. And I will find out where you come from, strong man -said Erza, folding his sword slowly.
Goku's path in this new world had begun, and the first of his companions, powerful and determined, was already completely fascinated.
