Before the sun has set completely, they have finally arrived to their destination. As Yuri was getting out of the carriage, she saw the two love birds having their own sweet moments once again. Lumen teasingly carried Sabrina over his shoulder as he step down from their carriage. His teasing made Sabrina blushed with a slight hint of redness on her cheeks, almost like a porcelain doll, making her look unrealistically beautiful. Sometimes, Sabrina's beauty and elegance aura made Yuri forget that she was a transmigrator of this novel also, since she looks like she was naturally born into this noble status of hers. But once again, Sabrina is the main FL of this world, so it was natural that she has the cheat code for everything in life, as long as she is within the world at least.
Yuri can hear Lumen's deep laughter as the corners of his smile reaches his eyes, making him more dashing than ever. He finally put Sabrina down to the floor as her small pale fist hit his chest lightly while blushing angrily. Lumen didn't get angry, instead, his eyes became softer as he looks at her angry face, which made him sneaked a kiss on her face. It is almost like one of those medieval oil paintings that you see in the museum, colorful and beautiful. If Yuri was an artist herself, she would've painted them at this very moment and sell it for a high price, but unfortunately, artistic skills were not part of her forte. Which reminded Yuri once again that she was transmigrated to a romance novel.
As those two main characters are having their cute moment, Yuri turned her head to the huge tall brick wall that is in front of her. She can see the green and luscious vines of leaves crawled all over the wall, as huge trees blending the wall as part of the nature. Almost like the people behind this wall doesn't want anyone to notice its existence. Giving off a mysterious and unspeakable aura that kind of made Yuri became curious of what cold be behind this wall. How "Holy" the temple has to be for it to be shut off from the public eyes, while only letting the royal bloodline to attend. As Yuri was studying the wall that is in front of her, she saw two guys wearing full white robes and a gold star pin on their collars emerged out from the gate of the wall, and started to walk up to the two main characters.
Those two guys bowed and paid their respect to the two nobles that were in front of them and said
"I hope your journey to here wasn't too rough, His highness Lumen and Lady Sabrina Arden."
Lumen and Sabrina stood their quietly without saying anything. Then one of the two guys continued
"We will be assisting Lady Sabrina's stay over the temple. Please follow us...."
The two guys turned around and walked to the gate of the wall, as Lumen and Sabrina followed behind. Since the carriage can't go beyond the wall, the three maids, Yuri, Sisi and Emily, grabbed all of the belongings before following their masters.
After they walked pass the gate, a minute later something has glistened over Yuri's eyes. This made her look up to find what was glistening over her eyes, and what she saw has made her in awed. As the sun was setting, the orange and reddish tint of the sky is reflected over the white marble floor that are all over the the area. Each building that they walk pass by was decorated with gold lined details and finely sculpted designs on the white marble buildings. Yuri has never seen something like this before, where everything looks so magnificently elegant and beautiful, especially the addition of the sunset, makes this temple a thousand times more "Holy" than what Yuri thought it will be. Truly, looks like a place where it contains a lot of history and past.
As Yuri, Sisi and Emily kept admiring the the beauty of the temple, the two guys in white robes that were leading them turned to a building that was also built from white marble, but much more normal looking than the rest of the buildings that they have passed by. More dorm like building that is only two story tall. The two guys lead them into the building as they walked up the dimed staircase reaching the second floor, and all the way at the corner, they halted and turned to Lumen and Sabrina and stated politely
"This will be the room for Lady Sabrina during her stay. There are two more smaller rooms in this floor and one more on the first floor for your maids. I understand that the journey must have been tough for you Lady Sabrina and His highness Lumen, but after your supper, the Priest does want to meet you guys. Especially His Highness Lumen before he leaves the monastery."
Sabrina looked at Lumen and slightly nodded her head before saying thank you to the two attendings. Once they left, Sisi opened the door of the room so that they can start unpacking Sabrina's things. The room is not as big or lavish as the one that Lumen provided for Sabrina in his estate, but at least it is cleaned and tidy. Afterall, they are in a monastery, so it is not like they can ask for too much either way. As the maids were unpacking and tidying the room, Lumen held onto Sabrina's hands and looked at her with a gentle smile
"You must be tired, should I ask the maid to get your supper ready first?"
Sabrina nodded, and Lumen looked at Sisi.
Sisi bowed showing that she have understood and stepped out from the room. A moment later, she held two portions of foods for Lumen and Sabrina. As they were eating their supper, while the maids were slowly taking care of things in the room, Sabrina look at Lumen worriedly,
"The priest wanted to see is not because of anything big right?"
Lumen flicked his eyebrows up a bit and said calmly
"Don't worry too much. I believe he just wanted to us to greet him, plus, I knew him since I was a young boy. He is a nice and righteous guy, he will be good to you also, so don't worry too much."
After listening to him Sabrina let out a relieve and nodded her head gently.
After Lumen and Sabrina finished their supper, Yuri, Sisi and Emily also just finished setting up the room for Sabrina. Then they went out to the meet the Priest. The maids weren't able to go in together with their masters, since the priest is within the main church itself, so they waited outside as Lumen and Sabrina went in to meet the Priest. Yuri let out a small sigh from her heart, as she starts to become tired from all the traveling and cleaning that she just wanted to have a good sleep right now. She looked around the area as she and the other two girls are waiting for the two main halos of the plot. Yuri realized that this temple or monastery is bigger than she thought. There are also a lot of priest attendings in this place.
From the looks of it, it seems like Sabrina knew a thing or two on what will be happening later on as the plot progress, but at the same time, it seems like things were not going as expected as what Sabrina will thought it will be. Yuri shrugged her shoulders lightly, as she already knew that it doesn't really matter if things goes as Sabrina planned or not, since in the end, everything will worked out just fine, since she's the FL of this world. By the time Lumen and Sabrina left the church, night has already fall. The open areas are lit up by torches, as the moonlight guide the road back to their building. The stars from the night sky and the moon are reflected from the white marbles of this monastery just like how the colors of the sunset were reflected. Once again, Yuri was awed by the beauty of how this place structured and design. It is weird for Yuri to feel like this, but being in this place really made Yuri felt like she is one step closer to "God".
Once they have arrived to the building Lumen stopped walking and held onto Sabrina's hand.
"I need to go..."
"Right now? Why don't you stay over for the night? It is so so dark right now that it could become dangerous..."
Lumen shook his head and stated gently
"There's a lot of things that needs to be done right now, especially this potion..."
Right, they still need to find a way to feed the potion to that male servant that framed Sabrina for poisoning Vanessa.
"I am not sure exactly how long you will have to stay in the monastery for, but before the trial start we need to find a way...and I've heard that Lady Vanessa will be arriving soon also, you'll have to be more careful...."
Sabrina sighed
"I doubt they will let me meet up with Lady Vanessa either way, although... I do want to meet her...After all, she is the victim also....I really hope that we don't need to reveal her power as a witch, since it won't be good for public eyes, but if anything goes wrong...that is the easiest way to show that she won't die easily just from a mere poison...."
Lumen held onto Sabrina's face and gently smiles at her.
"You should care about yourself more....If anything happened to you, I think I will actually go crazy"
Sabrina looked at him with a flushed face, and Yuri rolled her eyes
---I guess it is time for that "first kiss" moment that the readers have been waiting for---
Yuri looked at them nonchalantly as those two halos' faces are getting closer to each other, until their lips touches each other.
As they were doing the "scenario" of their first kiss, the light of the stares are sprinkled across the dark horizon of the sky, as the round moon dims brightly over the two main characters, just like those spotlights that they do for stages.
---Realistically speaking, who would've waited for that "spotlight" to come? I would've pounced straight to those lips once I found the opportunity---
The image of that person kissing her resurfaced back into Yuri's mind. Now that she thought back to it, it was a sudden moment for her also. Before she realized what was happening, his lips had already laid on top of hers. But it's not like Yuri hated it, more or less, she liked it. For time to time, she thought of that night, which makes her blush every single time. Afterall, Yuri never thought that she could ever be that straight forward in her life, especially towards someone that literally just met. Someone where his role in this world is still a mystery, his background, and his name also.
From what Yuri remembered from that night, it seems like he already knew Vanessa Carlson is a descendant of a witch, at least according to Sabrina's perspective, it was supposed to be revealed later on in the plot. However, Yuri felt like him knowing Vanessa's background is not even a surprise anymore, since it seems like Vampire exist.....Although Yuri was not sure if he was joking or not, but according to him, it seems like he has a way higher ranking status than vampires...

Yuri thought calmly to herself. She felt like there are so much going on in this world that nothing really surprise her anymore. Before she was able to continue her thoughts, she saw Lumen turned his back and walked away from Sabrina after letting go of her hands reluctantly. Few minutes later, his back has also disappeared into the dark, leaving only Sabrina standing in the same spot all alone (with her maids standing behind her). Then Sabrina turned her way towards where her maids are at, then started walking towards the building. Her three maids followed her from behind, until they have reached her room. Before the three maids took their rest of the night, they assisted Sabrina with her bathing and the change of her night gown.
Finally, Yuri plopped into the bed while her brown curly hair are still wet after the quick bath. She stayed in the first floor's room since the other two girls called dips on the two rooms in the second floor, without Yuri knowing, because the rooms are slightly bigger than the one in the first floor. It's not like Yuri really cared which room she gets, as long as there is a bed that keeps her warm and a roof that keeps her dry, she doesn't really mind in the end.
Yuri looks at the window that she opened and the red flower that she picked up this morning. She puts the flower in a cup that is filled with water, hoping that it will keep the longevity of the flower lasting longer. Even though Yuri knew that she should bury the flower's root into the soil before it dies completely, but right now, she wants to put it somewhere where it is obvious. Somewhere where her eyes catches the moment she turn around. She wants those deep red petals that are fluttering from the soft breeze that escaped into the room, emerge into her visions, like how she hope to see that pair of blood lusted red eyes that flutters as he looks at her gently. At this moment, she feels like it doesn't matter, nothing matters anymore. Whoever he maybe, whatever the future may hold, it doesn't matter anymore.
She miss him.
Yuri eyes start to get heavy. The light breeze that touches her felt similar to his warm touch when he caress her face. As her visions starts to become blurry from her build up of tiredness, the flower's red petals that are lightly dimmed from the bright moonlight, sat there beautifully, almost like it was gazing back her.
A sudden yearning erupted into her heart as she looses her consciousness.
---...I miss you...come, come back to me.....
