Chapter 1 - 1 - "The Second Life"

Ashton Gray was once a powerful Dominant Alpha, feared by kingdoms and respected by every pack. But betrayal came from the person he least expected—his father's new wife. Her ambition to make her own son the heir ended with Ashton murdered and erased.

He wakes up in his next life as a poor country omega, weak, powerless, and treated like dirt by the world he once ruled. But Ashton refuses to bow to fate. Determined to claw his way back to the top, he seeks the truth behind his reincarnation and a way to reclaim the alpha strength stolen from him.

His only unexpected ally: Klein, a gentle but mysterious omega who holds a secret that could reshape destinies. Together, they will uncover rituals, forbidden bloodlines, and a path that might restore Ashton's dominance—or destroy him again.

A fallen alpha.

A forgotten omega.

A bond that changes everything.

Chapter 1 — The Second Life

The pain was the first thing Ashton felt.

Not the sharp, burning pain from being stabbed—no. This pain was dull, aching, heavy, like his bones didn't belong to him. His eyelids fluttered open, and instead of silk sheets and golden chandeliers, he saw a cracked ceiling made of rotting wood.

"What…?" His voice cracked.

The scent in the air was unfamiliar—weak, sweet… omega. Not alpha.

He forced himself to sit up, but his limbs trembled. He looked down at his hands—thin, small, delicate.

This wasn't his body.

Before he could panic, a wave of memories crashed into him.

A small countryside hut.

A sickly omega child.

Villagers who whispered behind his back.

A life of poverty and weakness.

This is my new body…?

Then another memory—much older—flashed like lightning.

His father's smile.

His stepmother's cold eyes.

His brother smirking.

A blade sliding into his ribs.

His blood on marble floors.

Ashton gasped, clutching his chest.

"They killed me," he whispered. "Those traitors… they killed me."

His breathing grew ragged as the truth settled in:

He had been reborn.

But not as an alpha—

Not as royalty—

Not even as a warrior—

He was reincarnated as a poor omega, the weakest existence in society.

Pure humiliation washed through him.

"Me? An omega? Impossible…"

A soft knock interrupted his spiraling thoughts.

"Ashton? Are you awake?" A gentle voice called.

He stiffened. That voice—warm, calming, strangely familiar.

The door creaked open, and a boy stepped inside. Pale hair, bright eyes, and an aura that didn't match his fragile form. He was clearly an omega too, but there was something else… something powerful hidden behind his kindness.

"Klein," Ashton breathed—though he didn't know how he knew his name.

Klein smiled softly, setting a bowl of warm soup on the table. "You fainted again. I made something for you. Eat before it gets cold."

Ashton stared at him… and froze.

Because there, around Klein's wrist, faint golden markings glowed—ancient symbols Ashton had only seen once in forbidden scrolls.

Omega Healer Marks.

Rare.

Powerful.

Capable of evolving an omega…

Or restoring an alpha.

Ashton's heart pounded.

If he stayed close to Klein…

If he gained his trust…

He might have a chance.

A chance to rise again.

A chance to reclaim everything stolen from him.

His new life began to shift.

"Klein," Ashton said quietly, eyes burning with determination. "I think you and I… can help each other."

Klein blinked, confused. "Help each other? With what?"

Ashton's lips curled into a slow, dangerous smile.

"Everything."
