Chapter 56 - Chapter 56: Choosing a Coach

The next day, Tadokoro Megumi, Sora, and the other girls followed Nanahua and the others to learn the essentials of diving.

They only wanted to experience the joy of freediving and enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery. Therefore, they only needed to familiarize themselves with how to use the diving equipment and what precautions to take.

With several professional coaches by their side, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Moreover, with Elma and Tohru watching nearby, even if something did happen, they could be rescued quickly.

Liu Ming had asked Tohru this morning; since she was free, he added her to the group.

Tohru had no objections and readily agreed.

There were four people learning freediving, but a small unexpected issue arose when assigning coaches.

Tadokoro Megumi, Sora, and Miyu absolutely refused to be taught by Shinji and Jiro.

Therefore, Nanahua and Azusa had no choice but to teach the three of them simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Shinji and Jiro taught Yuta alone.

Shinji and Jiro were not disappointed; in fact, they were a little happy.

After all, Yuta was male and a freshman in college, already old enough to drink.

They couldn't handle Liu Ming, that cunning fox, but were they afraid of Yuta, this 'little cabbage'? In the coming days, they would definitely make Yuta feel the enthusiasm of his freediving club seniors.

Facing Yuta's pleading gaze, Liu Ming could only shrug helplessly.

Better a dead friend than a poor Taoist.

Rather than letting them continue to pester him, it was better to let them shift their goal to Yuta.

This way, for the next few days, he could fully enjoy the fun of the beach.

Liu Ming asked Chisa to show him around the island.

Chisa's gaze was still a bit scary, but she nodded and agreed.

And so, today everyone split into two groups: one went to learn freediving, and the other followed Chisa to tour the island.

Liu Ming held Xiao Hina's hand with one hand and Kanna's with the other, slowly walking beside Chisa.

He really wanted to find a topic to break the current awkward atmosphere, but suddenly he didn't know what to say, so he could only follow Chisa's lead.

Xiao Hina, on the other hand, didn't think about these things and remained in high spirits. Whenever she saw something curious, she would ask questions.

"Uncle, what is this?"

"Uncle, this thing looks so strange!"

"Uncle, ...."

Liu Ming answered each question, and if he didn't know something, he would just make something up.

He wasn't a writer for nothing; once he started spouting nonsense, it was truly earth-shattering and ghost-wailing.

He completely fooled Xiao Hina and Kanna, the two little lolis.

Their pure little eyes sparkled with adoring stars.

And he accepted it calmly.

Chisa, standing nearby, couldn't help but twitch her lips. She felt like she was getting to know Liu Ming all over again, seeing such a shameless side of him, not even sparing children.

Her impression of Liu Ming's identity as a writer crumbled a bit.

"Chisa, are you still angry?" Liu Ming finally decided to get straight to the point; otherwise, this situation couldn't continue.

"I'm not angry with you at all," Chisa turned her head away.

"You say you're not, but you used to be so cute. Now you look at people like they're ants.

Do you know that kind of look is really scary?"

Liu Ming was speechless. It was already so obvious, yet she was still being tsundere.

"Who told you to leave without saying goodbye to me? I taught you freediving so diligently, and this is how you treat me? Do you even consider me a friend?" Chisa also got angry and loudly questioned Liu Ming.

"You weren't around at the time, and I had an urgent matter," Liu Ming explained.

"What about a phone call? You didn't even call me once. You have no sincerity," Chisa continued to question.

"I don't have your phone number," Liu Ming said helplessly.

"You don't? Couldn't you have asked?" Chisa laughed out of extreme anger.

Xiao Hina suddenly ran between the two of them and said seriously in her tender voice,

"Mommy said good friends shouldn't argue. If you do something wrong, you just need to say sorry."

Hearing this, both of them were stunned.

Looking at Xiao Hina's pouting face, their hearts warmed, and they couldn't help but smile.

Liu Ming picked up Xiao Hina and said, "We're not arguing, Xiao Hina, you don't need to worry."

"Of course not! Would Uncle lie to Xiao Hina? Right, Chisa?"

Chisa was stunned for a moment but quickly reacted, "Yes, Big Sister isn't arguing with your Uncle."

Xiao Hina immediately smiled again.

"Heh heh, adults," Kanna said faintly from the side.

"Little rascal," Liu Ming rubbed her little head vigorously.

Then, the group continued their tour.
