Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Celestial Purge I

Prologue

In the Celestial World, there are seven Clans which are ruled by seven Highlords. These seven Clans' affairs are overseen by the Supreme Emperor of the Celestial World – Emperor Donovan. The seven Clans are: Wolverine – the Werewolves' territory; the Lycantopic – Lycans' territory; Fairisle – Fairies' territory; the Wizard Den – Witches and Wizards' territory – Aquaria – the creatures of the sea' territory; Shafteria – Shapeshifters' territory; and Earthderai – the Earth Benders' territory.

For thousands of years, these Clans have lived in peace and harmony, thriving together while being diverse. Creatures from these clans are free to move about and also marry from a different clan other than theirs.

Chapter 1 – The Celestial Purge I

The sky is as red as blood, same way the Celestial Aisle below is filled with blood. Bodies everywhere, and cries of men, women and children fill the supernatural world. In the Human world, the rain has ceased to stop since morning, and the heavy storm has caused a power outage everywhere.

Chaos everywhere in the Celestial World. At the Celestial Aisle, the highest mountain in the Celestial World, the seven Highlords, men of power, both the good and the bad, and the Emperor are all in a fierce battle against each other in order to obtain the Oregon (a staff that holds the ultimate power to the Celestial World, and which only the Emperor must have access to).

"I caught it!!! The Oregon is mine. Arghhhh… Highlord Fermin, how could you?"

"Hahahaha, sorry my dearest friend, but this staff is mine. I must do whatever it takes to become the emperor, even if it means killing my fellow Highlord… Arghhhhhhhhh"

"The Oregon, the Oregon, it is in my hands… aaaaahhhhh"

The Celestial Aisle is filled with blood, as the battle becomes fiercer. Heads, hands, legs are all on the ground. A little seven years old boy is walking through the massacre, crying and calling out for his family.

"Father! Mother! Where are you all? Where are my sisters and brother?" Aerian cried as he dodged a sword that swung passed him.

Prince Aerian the youngest son of the Emperor who got separated from his mother, the Queen, as they tried to run away after the attack on the palace, has now ended up on the Celestial Aisle in search of his family members.

As Aerian continued walking, while dodging the swords and magic being flung in his direction with the training he received as a prince, he saw his elder brother. As he ran towards his brother to hug him, he saw someone drive a silver sword into his brother's heart.

'Brother!!! No no no" Aerian screamed

The person was walking towards him now.

"Hey dear prince Aerian, our dearest youngest prince. Since your older brother who was meant to succeed your father is dead, now it's your turn"

Aerian turned back and started running, he did not know what was going on and why that person killed his lovely elder brother, he did not even have time to think too much at the moment. The only thing that rang though his head was to find his father, mother, and sisters. As he ran, he cried because his elder brother was no more. His elder brother who taught him martial arts, his elder brother who taught him to swim. He had to find his father immediately.

"Aaaahhhhhhhhh" Aerian cried out as something hit him hard. He fell to the floor and realized a magic just hit him, but it did not have a strong impact on him because of the bracelet which all members of the royal household are to wear to protect themselves. However, it was a matter of time before the amulet protective powers would be breached.

While running, he saw a figure wearing a white gown filled with blood stains on the floor. The bracelet on the wrist of the figure looks exactly like the one on his hands. He went closer, that figure, he knows this person, that long silky black hair, that white royal dress with flower patterns, that slender and small palm.

Though her face was covered by her hair, he knew exactly who that was. How could he forget, how could he forget the very person he considered his second mother, how could he forget the back that carried him while playing piggyback, how could he forget the hands that bathed him, that spoon-fed him, the legs that ran round the palace with him, the person who washed him after he pooed.

How could he forget his big sister. As he drew closer to the figure, tears filled his eyes, he hasn't even gotten over the gruesome death of his brother, now he has to face the lifeless body of his sister. He lay on the cold bloody ground, crying his heart out, his big sister, his always- smiling big sister is no more.

As he lay on the bloody ground, he could hear footsteps approaching, he could also hear the sound of swords clinging, the terrific noise of magic being casted, and the mourns and groans of people dying. But at this point he was tired, he had witnessed too much for a seven years old and he did not have the strength to bear anymore.

He just sat there holding his sister's hand, as tears continued to fall down his cheeks.

"Freiya, wake up, please wake up. Don't worry, daddy would stop all these soon. Remember, daddy is the most powerful in our world, he is the emperor. Just wake up okay, and you'll see how daddy would come to our rescue. Freiya, I know that you are trying to play with me. This is a prank, right? Freiya, please stop, I'm really scared now, please stop pranking me. Please" He murmured quietly as the footsteps inched closer.

"Oh Freiya, you are sleeping right? I'm sorry for disturbing you, I'm sorry. Sleep well okay, when daddy comes, he'll wake you up and we will all go home. Daddy, mommy, Zekiele, you and I, we will all go home. And we will also wake brother Jamai up from his sleep as well, right?" Aerian continued to cry quietly as he continued to talk to his sister body.

The footsteps were getting closer with each word he uttered. However, he could only care less, that was the least of his problem at the moment. He was confused, he did not understand what was going on. All he knew was that before he got separated from his mother, they were trying to hide, and she had promised to bring his brother and sisters back home and that they would be reunited. That was all he knew, and that was all he chose to know, nothing else matters.

With every breath the footsteps became closer and closer and closer.

Three more steps.

This person, the aura, the familiarity.

Two more steps.

This person's presence carries a very strong aura which he is very acquainted with. He has known this person all his life. Though he is overwhelmed with grief, he could not shake off the warmth he felt due to this person's presence.

One more step.

He was standing right behind him now.

"It is time to join your big brother and sister, little one." The person behind him said.
