Chapter 3 - the ring of fire

Nayak settled into a relaxed stance, a confident smile playing on his lips, and said:

"Yes, I admit you have strength... but I am much stronger than you!"

He paused, looking at Pawan.

"Honestly, when I was fighting you, for a moment I thought I would lose. I thought that years of my discipline, my practice would be in vain... but no. I have seen the limits of your might."

Nayak, his voice firm, pointed a finger at Pawan:

"You are no warrior. You are just a goon."

Pawan was still in shock. Nayak's words pierced his heart like arrows. His pupils widened.

"You have strength, but no goodness! You have courage, but your heart is full of deceit!"

"What good is such power, if it cannot help the weak?

What's the use of your bravery, if it only torments the weak??"

"Enough... enough! You know nothing! You don't know an ounce of what I've suffered! You know nothing of what I've been through!"

Pawan spoke, panting, his eyes filled with pain:

"Just by having the name 'Nayak', no one truly becomes a hero! I am the villain of my story, the one who has been wronged! And now what has happened to me, will happen to everyone!"

He clenched his hands.

"The weak are destined for annihilation! If I don't do it, someone else will! Someone else will suppress them! People need someone to enslave them. Once they find that oppressor... they happily accept slavery! I just... I cannot stop now. I must become the strongest!"

"So strong that people will tremble at my very name!"

Pawan's roar stunned the entire warehouse for a few moments, and a profound silence fell.

"And what will that achieve? What will you gain by doing all this?"

Nayak spoke, breaking the silence, these words designed to show Pawan the mirror of reality.

"What you are doing, and the future you have chosen for yourself... in that future, there is only darkness for you, nothing else! Just think, what will you gain by choosing this path?

Becoming powerful is not a bad thing. I also want to be strong! But the path you have chosen will push you into a deep abyss. I implore you... abandon this path. This is for your good and for everyone's good."

Pawan shook his head with a sarcastic smile:

"You give good speeches. Are you some kind of politician? Or do you aspire to be one?"

He laughs, but there is pain in his eyes.

"I don't care about your moralizing words! All of it is pure nonsense."

"Brother, I am not an honorable man, nor do I have any desire to do good deeds."

"You won't understand like this. It's decided! After all... some ghosts only respond to kicks, not words." Nayak was resigned; he felt that Pawan needed a good beating to abandon this path.

"But remember, it was you who chose this path of evil. Now, don't complain to me about what happens to you."

Nayak extended both his hands forward and then brought them into a claw-like posture, focusing his mind. Until now, everyone present was stunned, as they had no idea what was about to happen.

In a few moments, blue lightning began to emanate from Nayak's claws, and several small arcs formed between his palms. In this glow, Nayak's face appeared blue and white. In no time, the lightning engulfed Nayak's entire body.

He made a tiger's claw-like posture with both hands and roared:

"The Lightning Claw!"

As he said this, Nayak covered a distance of fifty feet and reached Pawan in the blink of an eye! It was as if he had teleported! Everyone was dumbfounded, no one could even move.

The lightning-soaked claw was about to injure Pawan when...

Suddenly, the warehouse roof exploded with a loud bang!

Thud!

There was a great commotion on the ground, and the thick smoke from the explosion covered that entire part of the warehouse in a blanket of darkness.

Everyone present was coughing from the poisonous effect of the smoke.

"Finally... what is this?" Pawan asked, steadying his voice, "who has intruded into my den like this?"

"I don't know, boss!" a goon replied, frightened.

Cutting through the thick curtain of smoke, the three shadows emerged.

In front was a giant, powerful figure. Behind him, the thin masked man who had been watching Nayak for a long time. And finally, there was the dwarfish masked man, with dual swords in both hands!

Nayak saw them and was shocked; his eyes showed familiar glimpses.

"You guys!" Nayak roared in anger.

"Yes, it's us, Nayak, your old friends," said the thin masked man with a terrifying laugh.

"Finally... we found you, Nayak!" the thin masked man said with satisfaction.

"Who are these people anyway?" Pawan asked in confusion.

Just then, a goon nervously pointed with his hand: "Boss, look... look at what's written on their capes!"

A fire circle was emblazoned on the masked men's capes.

As everyone saw that symbol, everyone present froze in shock.

"What is 'The Ring of Fire,' the country's biggest gang, doing here? And most importantly... why were they looking for Nayak?"

"Just surrender now, Nayak! And come with us quietly," the thin masked man commanded.

"Never!" Nayak firmly refused.

"You are very stubborn!" the giant masked man roared.

"We were explicitly told to bring you before the boss. You escaped last time, but it won't happen again!" the dwarfish masked man warned in a sharp voice.

"You'd better give in. You can't defeat all three of us at once. It's impossible!"

Nayak took a deep breath, gathered his courage, and then said:

"You don't know... how much I have practiced my powers for the entire last year! So that I can avenge the crimes you people have committed..."

"You're just like your father... just as stubborn! Why don't you just give up?" the giant masked man said irritably.

"I won't give up! As long as people like you exist... not at all!"

"By the way, we were told that if you don't comply, you should be brought by force."

"Then, why don't you try?" Nayak said, adopting a fighting stance.

"Oh! Why is this boy so stubborn?"

The dwarfish masked man, exasperated, clashed his two swords together and got ready to attack. He moved swiftly and swung his sword at Nayak, which was about to touch his waist, but Nayak narrowly dodged it at the last moment.

Just then, the thin masked man came from behind and punched Nayak hard.

The punch was lethal. Blood started oozing from Nayak's stomach, but when Nayak saw that the masked man had a tiger claw in his hand, he was shocked. Drops of blood were dripping from the masked man's tiger claw, and this blood belonged to none other than Nayak.

Nayak had just tried to recover when the dwarfish masked man swung his sword again. But Nayak managed to stop the sword by trapping it between his palms just in time. Pain and agony were clearly visible in Nayak's eyes.

"You bastards, I won't spare you!" Nayak cried out in pain.

Nayak's attention was diverted, and just then, a giant, demonic masked man appeared from somewhere and delivered a powerful punch to Nayak's stomach, precisely where the tiger claw had struck. Nayak's eyes seemed to pop out from the pain, and he fell into a pile of junk far away. He tried to get up, but the attack was so powerful that he couldn't and fell unconscious.

"I don't know why the boss asked us to bring him. He's not as strong as we thought," the thin masked man said with a smile, disrespecting Nayak.

"Tiger, don't you think these people have seen everything? It wouldn't be right to leave them alive," the giant masked man said, pointing a finger towards Pawan's gang.

Tiger let out a villainous laugh and slowly walked towards Pawan's gang – not too far, not too close – and said, "No, Apar! These people have seen everything, but they can't do anything. Don't worry about them."

Pawan and his entire gang stood in shock.

After all, the boy whom neither the entire gang nor Pawan himself could defeat, these three had injured and knocked to the ground in a few moments.

"Go, Apar, get that boy. It's time to leave," Tiger said in a very calm voice, but evilness was clearly visible in that voice.

Apar moved forward. He was almost near Nayak.

"Hey bull! Stop!" Pawan roared, stopping Apar.

"Boss, please let these people go. They are..."

"Yes, I know. These people are members of 'The Ring of Fire' gang, and I also know how dangerous they are. But right now, you are in my territory, and I am the lion of this territory. No one can just snatch my prey from me like this!" Pawan decreed.

"So you think you are better than us, the members of 'The Ring of Fire' gang?" Apar retorted.

"Yes, I am better! At least I don't fight an unarmed person with weapons, unlike you!"

"Interesting, interesting. Looks like more blood is yet to be shed," Tiger said, laughing and licking the blood from his tiger claw.

Now the three masked men started advancing towards Pawan.

Just then, thousands of kilowatts of electricity flashed in the pile of junk, as if a lightning storm had arrived.

The three masked men froze like pillars. Fear gripped them. Apar looked back in terror. Nayak stood in front. His body was engulfed in electricity, or rather, he was surrounded by a blue electrical aura.

The sound of lightning cracking in the sky began. The weather turned fierce, and lightning roared.

"I'm not afraid of him! This is just a coincidence!" Saying this, Apar moved towards Nayak. But Nayak was not moving an inch. He had kept his body relaxed, and his eyes were fixed on the ground below.

As Apar's shadow touches Nayak, Nayak roars, "Lightning Claw!" and vanishes in the blink of an eye.

Apar was astonished by his speed and stepped back two paces, looking from side to side.

"Where did he go?" Apar said.

Just then, Nayak came from above and, with his electric claw, tore Apar from his face to his chest and stomach. In one blow, Apar saw his grandmother (meaning he was in immense pain).

He screamed in extreme pain, as if his soul had left his body. Apar touched his face and cried out in pain, "What has this devil done to my face?"

Nayak then prepared for the next attack and said, "Special Move: Thunder Punch!" and punched him in the stomach with lightning speed.

At that very moment, a loud thunderclap occurred in the sky.

Blood came out of Apar's mouth, and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

Everyone present was stunned in awe.

"How is he still standing after enduring so many blows?"

"What is he made of?" Pawan thought in amazement.

Nayak looked at the other two and roared, "Who's next?"
