Amaira's POV
"Nice to meet you Ms. Malhotra, your presentation seems quite creative and interesting just like you" he said while leaning back in the chair and smirking and staring straight into my eyes.
For God's sake stop staring you fucking Singhania!!!
And what just he said creative and interesting like me, why the fuck he is interested in me. No..no..no he is just messing around with you cause he knows everyone falls for his this hot ,crazy body and personality which let girls go lalalala I guess!!
"Me?" I asked.
"Ofcourse it would be my pleasure if you join this project with me and put all your efforts and skills I mean" he answered.
"Oh, yes sure I would love to",I said.
And seriously everyone just left the conference room leaving me alone behind. I was so nervous that this hot looking guy who is continuously staring at me with burning eyes and I felt that he is just going to eat me up or maybe something more spooky!!
God please keep me safe! I was also about to step out but he immediately stood from his chair and called me to come over and discuss the details and finance of the project! Shit not now man!! So I sat and this led us to this conversation now, sitting opposite each other.
"Hey lady, tell me more" he said while snapping me out of my weird thoughts . I finally came back to my senses.
"About me" I said confusingly.
"About the project Ms. Amaira" he answered while smiling widely. He knew I am nervous and messed up around him and I can see he is enjoying it way too much.
"Ohh sorry, so let's first discuss about the team for this project then the benefits and drawbacks so that we can make changes if you want and lastly the finance and date of initiation" I said formally.
"Hmm".
I just explained him all the fucking details from a to z so that he doesn't questions me more and I can see him listening attentively at me and he also gave some more ideas and reviews on this project and lastly we discussed everything including finance and we shook hands as a sign that every single thing in this project is cleared.
He also thanked me for all this clarification of this project. Instead he is the new CEO i thought he will still be acquiring skills but he seems way too good like had all done this before because I can see how he gave the new and perfect suggestions which I would never thought to put up still.
As we finished everything and I saw the clock it was past 7'o clock in the evening and all the employees were almost went home. I gathered all my things up and said him bye.
"Bye, Mr Singhania it was great collabing with you" I said.
"Hmm, you've just impressive my lady" he said while smiling. I can't but just blushed at his last words'my lady'.
I turned around and made my way to my cabin to pack all my things and get my bag to head home. I can nearly see nobody here present I guess everyone went home. I took my bag and headed towards the lift as I was heading i saw the lift getting closed I ran after to get in it and just then a hand came in between from inside to let the door get closed and Yaa it was Mr Singhania. I got into the lift and just thanked him. I can sense him glaring at me all the time.
So I decided to ask why the hell he is making me nervous and for what he keeps staring.
"Ahem, why you just keep staring at me Mr Singhania, is there something on my face written which seems so interesting to you?" I said while clearing my throat .
He immediately got out of that staring session and started leaning closer to me making me hit the wall and just kept staring at me him I tried to maintain the eye contact. The tension arising between us.
God, he is fucking hot as hell from closer. As we both stare at each other for a while and suddenly he started leaning closer to my ear and whispered "Rudraksh! You can call me Rudra,it doesn't seems informal does it?".
"Why, my eyes just found the perfect view!" He said with a wide grin on his face.
"What" I said while hearing him whisper in my ear closely saying directly that I am the perfect view for his eyes. I can feel thousand of butterflies in my stomach dancing. Hell!
Suddenly, the lift started shaking and it started to go fast downwards, all the lights in the lift just started getting dim-light-dim and then the lift stopped and the doors were not opening. I started panicking and gripped Rudraksh 's arms tightly and he also hold close to him tightly and he started looking for the emergency button here and there and then he just found it and pressed.
"The lift has got stuck in between!" He said irritatingly moving his fingers across his hairs in frustration.
Great, now we are stuck together!!
"So what now, how we will get out" I asked nervously.
"Let me call someone" he said and I nodded.
He took out his phone and I can see he dialed his assistant and explained and then after few seconds he hang up and looked at me saying " Don't worry Amaira, my men will be here in few minutes and we can then get out" he said.
I was still clinging to his arm and then when I was about to remove my hand he immediately tucked it tighter holding more close and tighter this time.
I just felt like my heart is just racing for a marathon and if it won't slow down I will surely get a cardiac attack because we were quiet damn close so i chosed to keep my head down to avoid his gaze but he caught me before saying " Eyes here gorgeous!" If I will not die with a claustrophobia in this lift , then I would surely passed out because of the proximity between us.
And I can't help but made my eyes look into his and I can see a flint of something possessive, dark. He held my chin and made look at him straight. Before something might happen which we would regret I started to pull myself back from him but he held me more close to him this time making me fall into his chest directly. "Don't move" he said firmly.
"What the hell, Mr. Singhania leave me!" I said while pulling again but all in vain.
"What i just told you not to move na".
"But..-" I was cut by him as he kept his index fingers on my lips.
God, what is just happening!!. I can't help but say that my body wants his attention. His eyes fell to my lips and started tracing his fingers along my lips taking all the curve of my lips in his eyes, following every single curve just then his eyes went to my upper of the lips where there was a mole and he just smirked thinking something about it I guess and he just stared caressing the mole with his thumb.
Just he was about to lean closer the lift started moving and I just got my time to push him off from me. And the doors open and I ran straight to my car and didn't look back cause I was left with no nerve to look him back after whatever just happened now. I was blushing hard due to this and I can feel him smiling widely while seeing me running outside nervously.
And here i knew it, it isn't the ' staring each other ' thing it was something more or maybe something familiar I can't figure out.
I was more curious to know him now!
