"Dan, wait for me!" Theodore calls out as he chases Daniel through the halls.
"Come on, Theo, we're going to miss it if you don't hurry!" Daniel replies without breaking his momentum. They rush through the hallways, dodging everything in their path and racing toward the hangar, where they watch ships launch from the only home they've ever known — the Mothership: Calistra.
Countless fleets rise one after another as Theodore and Daniel watch from behind the protective glass.
A security guard spots them and yells, forcing the boys to flee the scene and hide in a nearby alleyway.
"Hey, Dan… let's get out of here. You've already watched them," Theodore pants as he tries to catch his breath.
"Watching them isn't enough," Daniel says with a smile. "When I grow up, I'll join the military and become an ace pilot so I can protect everyone — Mommy, you, Daddy, all of you — because you're my family."
"Well, you're hopeless without me, big brother," Theodore says with a grin. "So I'll come along. We can protect everyone together."
"I guess you're right, little Theo." Daniel says as they both burst with a playful laughter.
