[Third person]
After asking Yugo what he desired, Jhon stood several meters away from him at the counter, looking at him while maintaining a calm smile.
"Y-yes... mister bookstore owner, help my father, please." The Eliatrope pleaded, looking at him anxiously while grabbing his short blue pants with trembling hands.
Yugo believed that if what the bookstore mister said was true, his father could be fine in the following seconds.
At that moment Jhon remembered that Yugo was only twelve years old at the start of his story, which twisted his plans a bit.
While Jhon wanted power, taking advantage of a child would be the lowest for him.
So sighing a bit internally, his plans to take advantage of the future Yugo went down the drain. However, he couldn't leave empty-handed.
Obviously he would copy his physiology, but Jhon was a bit ambitious.
He looked Yugo in the eyes while the lamps changed tone, giving depth to the situation. "Of course, little friend, I can do it." He spoke while approaching him slowly, coming out from the counter, his imposing figure projecting a shadow over Yugo's.
Yugo stepped back a bit at that action, ready to open a portal. Until now he hadn't met anyone taller than his father, and this man looked much more imposing.
Jhon smiled a bit at his caution. So staying two meters away, he moved his hand. Magically two leather chairs appeared, one behind Jhon and another behind Yugo.
"Sit down and let's talk", he suggested while sitting in his chair with elegance.
"But—"
"It's okay, time passes differently here. Nothing will happen to your father." Jhon interrupted him, anticipating that he wanted to finish quickly to go with his father.
Yugo opened his eyes at that statement. With rage on his face, a portal was created beside him, ready to cross it. He didn't know if he could leave the shop, but he was going to try.
Jhon, seeing that his fairy godmother misinterpreted his statement, cleared the misunderstanding right away before he went through the portal.
"I'm not a Xelor, kid." He spoke with hardness and a grave voice. "I understand your rage, but it's *this space* where time passes differently." Making a supposed annoyance visible on his face, Jhon was direct. "I allowed you to enter my shop, but you've tried to use your powers. Do you think my patience is infinite?"
Yugo peeked a bit to the side of the portal and upon seeing the genuine annoyance on the shop owner's face, he doubted what he was going to do.
Knowing that right now he needed to save his father, he closed the portal with a quick gesture. He was a child, but he knew when someone got upset. His father got upset every time he knocked over meals, so he knew that expression.
"I'm sorry, sir." Scratching his head embarrassed, Yugo apologized to Jhon.
Jhon just smiled upon hearing the apology and indicated him to sit down.
Obeying the sir, Yugo sat in the chair.
"Haa." Yugo couldn't help making a relaxation sound. He had never sat in such a comfortable chair. If it weren't for his father's problem, he would be taking a nap right there.
Embarrassed by the involuntary sound, Yugo blushed a bit. Jhon upon seeing it just shook his head with amusement.
"They're comfortable, right?" He asked, to which Yugo nodded vigorously.
"Now that we're in tune, let's get to the point, Yugo." He indicated while making a cup of coffee appear and giving it to Yugo. Yugo tried to take a sip but almost burned his tongue, to which Jhon laughed a bit at how comical it was.
"Regarding what you told me, yes, yes I can help your father." Jhon answered his initial question, to which Yugo got excited right away. "But—" Upon hearing the "but", Yugo's initial joy calmed a bit.
"I can give him anything, sir, as long as you save my father, please!" With visible fear that he would back out, Yugo placed the coffee on the armrest and begged Jhon while searching for coins in his pocket. Without finding anything, only one thing was left. "E-even I can give you my hat." He finished saying, negotiating with something so important to him. Which showed the great love he had for his father.
Jhon, upon seeing this, had a neutral face, trying not to show too many emotions to the clients of his shop. But internally he was moved by it. As someone who had loved his parents, he knew what a son was capable of for them.
"Calm down, I'll only need one thing..." His hazel eyes looked at him slowly, while letting suspense build in the shop. Yugo listened attentively, tense but prepared for what was coming.
"A favor."
Upon hearing what the man said, Yugo felt his lips curl. He was already prepared to lose his hat and even his blue pants. A sacrifice that would be worth it.
But in the end it was just a favor. Yugo relaxed visibly in his chair. Jhon just observed him while drinking his tea with his legs crossed elegantly.
"A favor? No, sir." Said Yugo, smiling happily, standing on the chair while pointing at him. "I'll give you two favors and you'll become my friend." He finished telling Jhon with conviction.
Sincerely Yugo believed he was taking advantage. His dad had told him he should help other people, so it didn't seem right to him to do that. So he expanded the favors to two.
'A fair deal, right?' Internally Yugo congratulated himself for his business talent while raising his nose with pride.
Jhon just raised an eyebrow, amused because his benefit expanded thanks to the star negotiator.
"Deal done."
At the moment the deal was completed, Jhon felt his strength grow a bit and that at any moment he could make horns grow on his head, but now that was the least he wanted. Why would he want horns to grow on him? Only he can put them. Not on him.
What excited him the most was that he felt the ability to manipulate Wakfu and create portals.
Aware that his body had unlimited potential and that copied powers lost their inherent limits, he already wanted to kick Yugo out to practice.
At the moment he was going to tell Yugo that his father was already cured, he felt a call from the forest of the Castle of Desire.
Jhon frowned and concentrated his will on the dimension, searching for what was calling him.
Opening his eyes at what he found, Jhon had an amused smile.
'I hope you are born healthy and safe, little sister.' He said mentally while feeling a pulsation in his consciousness that responded to his words.
Coming out of his reverie, he looked at Yugo, who was impatient because he had suddenly closed his eyes and stopped talking.
Smiling at him, he said: "Your father is cured, Yugo."
Yugo, upon hearing that, opened his eyes wide and jumped from the chair, almost knocking over the coffee.
Realizing he almost knocked it over, he quickly caught it with agility while giving Jhon a shy smile.
Jhon just raised his hand and the coffee cup returned to his hand as if it had its own will.
Yugo upon seeing this was no longer surprised. He just bowed with some tears in his eyes and said: "Th-thank you, sir. When you need a favor, you just have to call me."
"You're welcome, Yugo. Say hi to Evangelyne for me." Jhon told him while winking. Though he doubted Yugo understood the hint, better to make sure.
After that, Yugo stood straight and wiped his eyes. "Okay, sir, I'll say hi for you." He responded with a big smile while running quickly toward the exit.
Jhon felt his lip curl. Apparently Yugo didn't understand. It seemed he would have to go to the world directly. Who knows, maybe Eliatrorcanos would be born in the near future.
But before that he wanted to get stronger and see a few worlds. He still wasn't sure what the power range was in which he could choose the world or return to one, but he would trust the time difference for now.
Yugo was already at the door when he turned toward where Jhon was, who was standing from the chair.
"Sir!" shouted Yugo.
Jhon turned his head toward him, disconcerted by the shout.
"What's your name?" Asked Yugo with expectation, wanting to remember the name of the one who helped him.
Jhon stayed still for a moment, thinking quickly about what to invent that sounded powerful.
Without time, he could only say what came to mind quickly.
"My name is Jhon... Jhon Desire." In response to his words, the lamps dimmed dramatically, giving more depth to the moment.
"Jhon Desire..." Yugo spelled the name in murmurs, thinking how cool it sounded.
Then, waving goodbye, he turned toward the half-open door.
"Bye, Mr. Jhon." He said while passing through the door and disappearing in a flash of light.
Jhon, on the other hand, was heading toward the training room with an anticipated smile, without knowing that his name would resonate in the channels of time.

Hello, readers. Here ends chapter 5.
I ask you, who will be Jhon's little sister?
Comment and tell me what you think.
In the next chapter we'll see Jhon's training.
Lastly —and I know it's shameless, but I'll leave it here anyway— maybe not now, but in the future: 200 power stones equal one chapter.
I hope you enjoy the reading.
Have a good start to the day or a nice end of the night.
