Chapter 108 - Massacre

After taking all the thousands of lotuses the wolves had been hoarding he had storage rings bursting with Mythic and Calamity-ranked blooms, Ash dove back into the fray. His blood-drop eyes gleamed with quiet hunger. He planned to clear as many as possible, harvest every lotus, and leave nothing but silence in his wake.

The valley became a storm of blood, shadow, sound, and starless night.

Ash led the carnage.

He vanished using Law of Space, reappearing amid a cluster of Fourth Calamity Noctis vampires.

|Eternal Night Apotheosis (Mythic)|

The region eclipsed in absolute, starless night with light being devoured, mana annihilated unless lunar in origin. The vampires' bloodlines which were darkness but not moon-touched were silenced, skills crushed to dust.

They were dragged into inescapable dream-prisons wit time dilated a thousandfold, one second outside equaled sixteen minutes of their deepest fears and desires.

SHK!

SHK!

Ash walked through the darkness untouched, sword flashing, beheading frozen bodies before they woke.

Raven fought nearby, fists blurring in silent crimson arcs.

She wove the Edict of Silent Sanguine, blood rising into perfect mirage armies that drained foes while her real fists shattered ribs. A Third Calamity Solar Fox charged her—solar fire roaring. She reflected it with Sanctuary of Eternal Silence, the flames turning back as blood-illusions that burned the fox alive. She claimed his lotuses mid-scream.

Summer danced through shadows, daggers bleeding darkness.

Veil of Umbral Daggers multiplied her blades into endless illusions. A Second Calamity lunged with claws rending air. Her shadows bled his wounds wider, Umbral Bleed devouring light until he collapsed blind.

She harvested his share silently.

Katherine sang amid the chaos, voice weaving Symphony of Crimson Echoes.

Blood became resonant strings, her lullaby shattering Laws and Talents alike. A Third Calamity Jadehorn charged with crystal antlers. Her note echoed infinitely—his blood vibrated until his core burst.

She took his lotuses with a soft smile.

Seth held the line with blood-barriers, Crimson Guard Surge reflecting attacks while Eternal Veins drained vitality. Connor struck from shadows, Abyss Echo Strike multiplying wounds until enemies bled out from echoes alone.

Hours blurred.

Ash made the biggest impact with Eternal Night Apotheosis, shrouding parts of the valley in darkness as the dream-prisons claimed hundreds of thousands in an instant. He unleashed Sin Eater on a Fifth Calamity leader, consuming his restraint and turning the wolf into a mindless beast that tore through his own ranks before Ash put him down.

Three hours passed in blood and silence.

Ash and the others stood above an empty valley with corpses cooling, lotuses harvested and herbs picked clean.

The Eternal Starlight Herb Valley was no longer the beauty from before.

Ash hovered with his group, wings spread, storage rings heavy with Mythic treasure.

He looked at them each.

Raven's black hair wild, Summer's shadows curling satisfied, Katherine's blonde strands glowing.

No one spoke for a moment.

Then Raven smiled, bloody eyes soft and gleaming with something deeper than awe.

"Well… someone is a much bigger monster than I realized."

Summer let out a low whistle, shadows curling affectionately around her fingers as she stared at the ashen remains of the Eighth Calamity elder. "Understatement of the era," she murmured, voice husky.

"I think I'm even more in love now."

Katherine laughed softly, blonde hair swaying as she stepped closer, pressing a hand to Ash's arm. "You make slaughter look beautiful," she whispered, sound-forks humming faintly in approval.

Seth stood frozen a few paces back, broadsword still in hand, eyes wide behind a mask of shock.

The man who had seen wars across worlds, who was a part of a Main Eternal Clan… stared at Ash like he was seeing a new god born.

Respect settled heavy in his chest.

Connor swallowed hard, rapier lowered. He said nothing, but his gaze flicked between Ash and the women with something complicated.

Ash's grin widened, fangs glinting, blood still dripping from a shallow cut on his cheek that already healed.

"It wasn't that much… anyway, let's continue."

They all grabbed hands... then

Ash's Law of Space rippled.

Reality folded.

In a heartbeat, they vanished from the ruined valley—leaving only silence, ash, and the whispers of those who had witnessed the birth of a new legend...

Well.... all those who had fortunately escaped.
