The motorcycle roared along the forest road with a deep rumble.
Ace squeezed the Luxury Ball in his hand. This was Growlithe's new home.
"By the way, Sister Chun, are you really planning to travel with me?" Ace glanced sideways at the pink-haired young nurse beside him. Her expression was serene.
"Mmm…" Chun nodded slightly.
After all, she had come to Viridian City to gain experience and help look after Lan's mother, Officer Jenny.
Now that Lan had decided to return to her family, there was no longer much reason for Chun to stay in Viridian City. She might as well travel with Ace for a while.
"Then let's go~" Ace wrapped an arm around her slender waist, released Rapidash, and mounted up.
"Neigh!"
Rapidash broke into a gallop, carrying the two of them away swiftly.
At the forest campsite, Misty and the others had already prepared breakfast.
"Brother Ace should be back soon, right?" Yellow held her bowl, voicing the question on everyone's mind.
"Him? He's definitely off doing naughty things with those two big sisters~" Blue wrinkled her nose.
"Doing naughty things?" Misty's heart skipped a beat.

"By the way, where are Sister Matori and Sister Ren Ti?" Yellow noticed two people were missing.
"They had other matters to attend to, so they left first. Maybe they'll come back another time~"
Ace brushed it off casually, then sat down at the dining table and began devouring the food. After working hard all night, he was starving.
Seeing this, Chun set up the pot again and started cooking.
As a Joy, her culinary skills were excellent. Even with simple ingredients, the flavors she created were noticeably better than anything available on the market, earning unanimous praise from everyone.
After the meal, the group set off together.

"Of course, but you need just a tiny bit of luck…" the middle-aged man said casually.
"Moon Stones are very rare items. Although Mt. Moon is named after them, it's better not to get your hopes up at a common roadside stall like this," Chun analyzed rationally.
Blue blinked her watery eyes and playfully approached Ace. "Ace, could you help me pick one?"
"Sure, but if I pick the right one, what's in it for me?" Ace grinned mischievously.
"Hmm… if it hits, you can do whatever you want, okay~?" Seeing this, Blue boldly squeezed her arms together, making her already ample figure appear even more enticing.
"Hahaha, alright then~" Ace walked to the stall and glanced at Misty and Yellow. "I'll pick a couple for you two as well."
With that, he casually scooped up three stones from the dozens of raw stones on the stall and tossed them to the man.
However, this action made the man's eye twitch violently. He held the stones, hesitating to make a move.
"Is there a problem, boss?" Ace looked at him with a knowing smile.
"Ahem… I've changed my mind. Closing up early today. Come back tomorrow…"
The middle-aged man stood up from the ground, ready to grab his bucket and make a run for it.
"Stop right there!" Misty blocked the path. "Why won't you sell to us? Could it be we happened to pick the Moon Stones?"
"How could that be…"
As the man started to speak, Ace slapped the back of his hand.
"Sss…!" In pain, the man let go.
Ace took the three stones, rubbed his palm over them, and the surface layer of stone and dirt fell away, revealing three dazzling glows of blue, white, and green.
"Are those a Water Stone, a Moon Stone, and a Leaf Stone?!" Chun covered her mouth in surprise.
"Pretty, pretty~" Blue crossed her arms in front of her, her eyes gleaming as she looked at the evolution stones.
Ace saw her acting like a greedy little cat and grinned. He handed the man a wad of cash.
"Here, uncle, keep this money. I'll take the stones~"
"Kid, I already said, I'm not selling them." The man's tone was bitter.
These three stones were his life's savings from years of mining, so he naturally wasn't willing to let Ace take them for nothing.
He fumbled in his pocket for a moment, then pulled out a Poké Ball.
"How about we have a battle? If you win, the stones are yours. If I win, this deal is off. What do you say?"
"Why should we battle you? We've already picked out these stones."
Misty stood with her hands on her hips, her ponytail swaying slightly. She was naturally outspoken and couldn't stand such things.

Ace wrapped an arm around her slender waist. His crop top made the action especially convenient.
"Good girl, go to the back and watch carefully~"
"Ugh…" Misty's momentum faltered, and her pretty face flushed crimson.
