Chapter 29 - the sky kingdom

Kingdom of sky first city - chapter 29-1

The storm began not in the sky - but within Zeus himself.

As his sandals struck the marble of the upper kingdom, the thunder trembled through existence. This was not Olympus. This was beyond it - the ancient seat of Uranus, first king of the heavens. The air itself shimmered with divine fossils - frozen Titans, calamities of the Uranian age, creatures of light and stone, paused in eternal defiance.

But when Zeus reached the throne, the heavens rejected him.

A bolt surged through him, flinging him across the hall.

His scream cracked the air like a storm forgotten by time.

"Still pretending to be king," a voice rumbled.

From the pillars, an ancient figure stirred - a Calamity Titan, eyes glowing like collapsing suns. "You are not your grandfather's heir. You are Kronos's son - the devourer's blood."

Zeus stood, body scorched, pride fractured. "If you think lineage decides rule, then you never understood the throne."

He charged - the hall split with thunder - but the Calamity Titan's strike broke his shield, shattered his crown, and drove him through seven walls of stormglass.

For the first time in eons, Zeus lost.

He fell through thunderclouds until his body crashed against a lonely peak - where Atlas stood, silent beneath the eternal burden.

"Still holding up the sky?" Zeus spat blood, forcing a laugh.

Atlas didn't turn. "Still mistaking arrogance for strength?"

Zeus exhaled sharply. "You could drop that weight and the world would crumble. You're wasting your eternity."

Atlas smiled faintly, voice echoing like a mountain's soul. "I am the gap between sky and earth, between life and Gaea's rebirth. My stillness is what keeps her dreaming instead of rising also you who forced that on me the punishment."

Zeus fell silent. For once, he listened.

Then Atlas looked at him, eyes older than stars. "You lost because you forgot what it means to fight like a god, not rule like one. You sit, command, and expect lightning to obey. But lightning only answers those who burn with it."

Something in Zeus's heart shifted. The arrogance dimmed - leaving the raw storm that once shook Olympus itself.

He clenched his fists. "Then I'll burn again."

When he returned to the ruins of Uranus's hall, the Calamity Titan awaited him.

This time, Zeus didn't summon lightning - he became it.

Every strike was a roar of memory - Gaia's wars, the Titanomachy, his rebellion - condensed into fury.

As the Titan raised its weapon, Zeus seized the thunder that rejected him earlier and screamed,

"If this kingdom judges worth - let it witness it!"

The storm imploded. When the light cleared, the Titan knelt.

From the shadows emerged others - Titans once frozen, now awakening.

Some bowed their heads in recognition; others drew their weapons. Factions formed, light and dark intertwining like storm currents.

In the chaos, a voice cut through:

"I am Hyperion, first of light! Those who remember Uranus's rule, stand for the rightful heir!"

Another voice answered, deep and venomous:

"And I, Crius, stand for the end of all kings! Slay the pretender!"

The skies erupted in war.

Zeus stood between armies, eyes blazing gold.

"For every hand that doubts me," he thundered, "I'll raise a storm that proves me."

Then from behind him came a figure - tall, armored in molten gold, eyes steady:

"We stand with you. Let us make history remember this kingdom not as Uranus's relic, but as Zeus's empire."

Zeus raised his hand.

"Then we advance. For the skies. For the throne."

The armies moved. Thunder and divine light shattered the void as the first city of the Uranian Kingdom fell under Zeus's banner.

By the end, the enemy forces retreated - planning their next defense.

The newly formed "Sky Legion" stood proud, their general kneeling before Zeus.

"Your Majesty... the throne waits. Two more cities before you reach it."

Zeus looked beyond the storm horizon - his expression unreadable.

He was king once more - but not of Olympus.

This time, he was king of his own making

29.2 kingdom of the sky:strations city

The sky shimmered above Stratonis, the second city of the Sky Kingdom. Zeus stood atop a floating plateau, the wind around him crackling with anticipation. Beside him, his allies - elemental generals, winged Serpent riders, and a few loyal Titans - observed the city sprawling below.

"Stratonis," Zeus muttered, eyes narrowing. "This city... half its people will welcome me, half will hate my bloodline. We need to know who's loyal, who's lying."

A golden-winged general stepped forward. "Your grandson of Uranus, most elemental governors will obey if they see the trial succeed."

A towering ice-elemental nodded, arms crossed. "But many still bear grudges against Kronos's son. They remember Uranus... they remember the blood spilled."

Zeus's fists tightened. "Bet they were racists against Cyclopes too."

"Confirmed, sire," replied the generals. "Uranus favored few, and the majority suffered under his bias."

Zeus exhaled sharply, thunder murmuring along his shoulders. "We'll fix that. We'll fix them all."

Below, the city's citizens stirred - elemental forms, glowing orbs of condensed air, liquid fire, and crystalline constructs, all frozen in time since Kronos's failed coup.

"You think he's rightful?" a fire-element hissed at an earth golem.

"He's Kronos's son! He murdered our king!"

"He may be Uranus's grandson, but Kronos's blood taints him..."

Arguments escalated until the ground trembled. A Calamity Titan, a hulking figure of molten stone and crackling storms, appeared from the horizon. Its voice rumbled across the city:

"If he passes the trial, the city is his. If not... he falls. No debate remains."

The citizens froze, awe and fear striking their core. The Titan's neutrality was law.

Zeus descended with a storm-wrapped step, the wind carrying dust and whispers. The first districts surrendered at a glance of his lightning aura - citizens bowing as if acknowledging their frozen obedience.

But farther in, chaos erupted. Elemental factions fought amongst themselves: loyalists clashing with skeptics, old grudges igniting like sparks on tinder. Zeus observed, frowning.

From the shadows, a winged informant whispered, "Your location is known... enemies gather."

Zeus tilted his head, voice calm but sharp. "Good. Let them come. I will show them what it means to face a king."

As Zeus stepped into the city proper, a hum of awareness surged through those who had been frozen. Time resumed, yet many moved as if nothing had changed. Only the strongest Titans, their forms larger than any mortal mind could comprehend, noticed the centuries of stasis.

One storm-shaped Titan whispered to another: "They awaken... the boy-king has returned."

Zeus's eyes gleamed. "They will remember now... every trial, every battle... every choice is mine to command."

The snitching faction made their move - a contingent of hostile Calamity Titans and corrupted elemental lords rose from hidden corners. Zeus's allies moved swiftly, forming defensive lines, wings and serpents coiling in the skies.

Zeus raised his hand. Thunder roared, slicing through the chaotic streets. "To the trial, to Stratonis's heart! Show me the true strength of this city!"

From above, lightning arcs danced as the city's factions prepared - some to support him, some to resist. The war for Stratonis, the Second City, was about to begin as everyone arrived for battle

Battle time is here

Thunder ripped across Stratonis as Zeus hovered above the city streets, his golden aura radiating like a sun caught in a storm. Around him, loyal allies took their positions: winged Serpents circling, elemental generals forming defensive lines, and ancient Titans who had pledged fealty to his cause.

From the shadows of a shattered spire, the first Calamity Titan emerged - a colossal figure of molten rock and crackling plasma, eyes glowing like twin suns. Its voice echoed through the city like tectonic upheaval:

"We met your kind before," it bellowed, "and in comparison... you are nothing."

Zeus's lips curved in a faint smirk, thunder humming at his fingertips. "Nothing, you say? Handsome king, are you sure about that?" His arrogance gleamed in his golden eyes, every syllable charged with electricity.

The Titan's gaze darkened. "The Harbinger."

Zeus froze, pulse quickening. Harbinger? he thought, heart thrumming at the unfamiliar word.

The Titan continued, its voice shaking the ground:

"The Harbinger of Foundation... the kytrhone, son of Atlas... and heir of ourea. Your kind is not new, boy. Even in Uranus's era, we faced beings like you. You are but a spark compared to the storm that once ruled these skies."

zeus didn't understand who or what is a harbinger but he wouldn't love to be compared to something he doesn't know that's for sure(yes confirmation Zeus is harbinger just like abyss and the other Their is 14 harbingers in the story).

Zeus's eyes narrowed, fury and pride intertwining. The air thickened around him, electricity dancing across his form. He struck first, his hands shaping thunder into searing plasma bolts that rained down like shooting stars on the Titan. Each strike split on impact, fracturing into energy shards that carved trenches in the city streets.

The Titan countered with molten fists, smashing pillars and tearing open the ground. Zeus leapt, forming a massive thunderstorm overhead, the clouds spiraling into a dragon's head. He shaped arcs of lightning into claws and fangs, lashing at the Titan with primal, elemental force.

"Is that all you have?" Zeus taunted, his voice rolling like distant thunder. "I am Zeus! The king above all skies! I will conquer that city"

The Titan growled, a tidal wave of molten stone and plasma surging forward. "Your arrogance will be your undoing, Harbinger! On my dead body "

Zeus's eyes gleamed. Harbinger... then let me show them why I am the king of Olympus or better your slayer .

With a flick of his wrist, he split his thunder into weapons: a spear crackling with condensed lightning, a shield of pure plasma, and a hammer that struck the ground with explosive force. Each strike carried the weight of a god, reshaping the battlefield.

The Titan roared, sending shockwaves that shattered streets, but Zeus adapted. He wove a storm around him, shaping a tornado of lightning that lifted debris and slammed the Titan from every angle Zeus did the unthinkable to other Zeus used his thunder power in unique way but no it's the first stage of awakening.

Mid-fight, Zeus spoke aloud, the arrogance of a king echoing over the storm:

"I am the storm! I am the thunder! I am the one who will conquer the skies!"

The Titan staggered, molten fragments falling to the ground. "You... are stronger than I expected... but still, you are... new... fleeting..."

Zeus grinned, splitting his thunder into multiple forms - jagged energy blades, hurling spears of lightning, and a massive dragon-shaped tempest coiling above the city. With one final roar, he drove all forms into the Titan simultaneously.

The explosion shook Stratonis, sending molten shards into the sky. When the smoke cleared, the Calamity Titan lay shattered, frozen mid-roar, and Zeus hovered above, chest heaving, electricity radiating like a corona.

Zeus looked over the city. The citizens of Stratonis, some loyal, some skeptical, watched in awe. "This... this is the trial," he muttered, thinking of the words of the neutral Calamity Titans. If I pass... the kingdom is mine.

A golden-winged ally landed beside him, whispering, "The others... the factional Titans... they're watching, sire."

Zeus's grin widened. "Let them watch. Let them learn. Stratonis is mine, and the skies will remember it."

From the horizon, distant rumbling signaled the next wave - the factions that opposed him were mobilizing. The battle was far from over, but Zeus had made the first undeniable mark till one motherfucker reminded him their is one more city Zeus then said"buzz killer"

29.3- cydrea city

The roar of battle had long since quieted.

Only the echo of thunder remained — soft, trembling through the sky kingdom's hollow air.

Zeus pushed forward with his allies, the banners of the Sky Legion flaring behind him like streaks of lightning.

Aetherion had fallen. Stratonis had bent the knee.

Now stood Calydra — the City of Foundations, closest to the palace of Uranus himself.

Zeus's thunder split the mist ahead as he laughed, wild and sure.

"This is it. The last wall before the crown!"

But his general, Altheon of the Sky Serpents, hesitated. "My king… they're not fleeing. They're herding us."

The air twisted. From every spire and bridge came the glow of sigils, thousands of them, binding together into a single shape — a spear of divine essence.

Too late.

A combined strike — Titans, storm fiends, and primordial wraiths — collided with Zeus's Judgment Ray.

The shockwave shattered the marble sky.

Zeus was thrown across the horizon, crashing beside the Pillar of Atlas — where the Titan himself stood, bearing the sky on his back.

The enemies advanced, trying to seal the chamber.

Atlas's eyes flicked up, expression unbothered, his voice like grinding stone:

"Move an inch… and I will drop the sky."

Silence. Even the air dared not tremble.

Every being there knew — if Atlas moved, Gaea would awaken.

Zeus used the distraction. His thunder cracked from beneath the ground, rising like roots of fire, electrocuting the enemy ranks.

The survivors — burned, unable to move — still glared up at him with defiance.

"Do it," one rasped. "Kill us. We'll never kneel."

Then the heavens convulsed.

A thunder unlike any other split reality itself — vast, ancient, the thunder of Uranus.

It tore across the skies, shaking the pillars that even Atlas strained to hold.

Atlas grunted. "Careful, boy. That's not lightning — that's judgment."

From the storm, a voice rolled through creation:

> "LOSERS MUST DIE. END THE TRIAL — OR I WILL."

The words carried divine authority — Uranus himself, testing his heir.

Zeus's gaze hardened.

He rose, dissolving his mortal shape, becoming pure radiance — the concept of thunder itself.

The storm bent toward him as he reached for it, his body screaming under the strain.

Red lightning scorched his divine form, searing through his veins.

He roared through the pain.

> "Thunder — I COMMAND YOU! OBEY ME!

I AM YOUR HEIR!"

The world turned white.

Though

Three days later.

He awoke in the palace of Uranus, the scent of ozone heavy around him.

His general kneeled beside him, awed.

"My king — my savior — the time has come. The coronation awaits."

Zeus blinked, disoriented, but rose. He followed them through the restored gates of Calydra.

Everywhere — from Titans of Uranus's age to the new Sky Legion soldiers — kneeled.

Those who once opposed him now bowed their heads in reverence.

The entire sky kingdom sang with thunder.

He ascended the great steps to the Throne of Ouranon, the seat once held by Uranus — carved from starlight and stormstone.

When he sat, the sky itself bent in half.

The crown of living lightning formed over his brow.

And the voice of the cosmos whispered:

> "Zeus, Harbinger of the Sky."

He smirked, eyes half-lidded.

"Harbinger of the Sky, huh?

Can't wait to see Hera's face when I tell her." as he wonder what she's doing for lunch after all he been here for centuries(in Olympus he been here for 10 days not long enough for Hera to be worried but to him he was fighting for 10 years if not more)

He slouched slightly, almost casual, but the weight of entire worlds hummed under his hand.

Later, beneath the endless vault, Atlas spoke from his lonely post.

"You've done it. You've taken what even your father couldn't."

Zeus chuckled, still staring at his glowing palms.

"Tell me something, Atlas.

That Titan in the second city — the one who mentioned a 'Harbinger of Foundation'… what was he talking about?"

Atlas's eyes glimmered like cracked stars.

"He was real kytrhone . The Harbinger of Foundation — , heir of ourea, the Titan who once carried the balance of the seas and skies.

Unlike our kind, Harbingers can alter the laws of existence within their domains. Gods bend mortals. Harbingers bend creation some people name him the world bearing titan."

Zeus leaned forward.

"Sounds like my kind of guy. Let's bring him back."

Atlas raised a stone brow. "You jest."

Zeus grinned. "Do I look like I jest?"

A pause. Then Atlas sighed. "You could. As Harbinger of the Sky, your domain is vast — Olympus, the storm realms, even parts of the mortal heavens. You could enforce divine principle — even life itself."

Zeus's aura flared like a sunrise. "Then watch me."

He raised his hand, thunder curling into geometric forms, divine circuits lacing across the air.

And from that light — the colossal figure of kytrhone, Harbinger of Foundation — emerged.

The Titan's presence cracked the air. He looked down at Zeus, eyes burning like molten gold.

"You revived me, wait your a harbinger that give me... just. Why?"

Zeus smirked and extended a hand.

"Because I could use a good ally.

And let's face it — I like making history."

kytrhone hesitated, then shrank his form to match Zeus's, his voice rumbling:

"Then history will remember this day, Harbinger."

Their hands met — lightning and foundation uniting.

And thus the sky kingdom crowned not just a new king — but a new era.

(And yeah Hyperion and circus does remember Zeus I mean they fought in titanomachy they simply used their name and authority to move the army cause after they escaped Tartarus they reform their sins after seeing what Tartarus is)
