There could be no more perfect phrase to describe myself.
From the moment I was born, I had never known hardship.
What others needed a hundred days to master, I learned in a single day.
What took a thousand days of enlightenment for them, seven nights sufficed for me.
Once, I thought there might be others like me.
But I was wrong.
Even the so-called geniuses of the world were, in my eyes, nothing more than fools pretending to be clever.
As the years passed, as I grew older, and as the world came to know my name, I had to accept it—
There was no one like me. Anywhere.
Those who now stood above me would, in time, naturally fall beneath my feet.
There was no equal.
And so, everyone who recognized my greatness praised me.
They said I was born to become the heavens themselves.
They called me a peerless existence, without precedent through the ages.
And I believed them.
I believed everything in this world was destined from birth to be beneath me.
That I was born to rule it all.
I lived with that belief.
At least… until last night.
