Hazel held her glass, swirled it and then drank a little from it before setting it down.
"Your marriage with Kaldric is like a political alliance. You married him to give the Axton family power and to secure your father's position and he married you to give the Alphas' Kings ease because those fools believe that him being married to a werewolf means he will never act against them.
