Hi! If you read the description, I am gonna repeat a little (and hold on with my excessive use of commas for now)
This is the first time I am writing this sort of thing, though not entirely unfamiliar. I am a dungeon master for some games of Dungeons & Dragons that I had run, my last few games using a homebrew setting that I had created. I had just finished the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation novel series, and it sequel/prequal novels, and it got me motivated, I guess,s to start writing this story myself as a sort of hobby. I ended up starting this novel using that homebrew setting, so I am also bringing it here in hopes I can improve my writing; whatever, if a few people see this, anything can help, really. My original version of this setting, I drew a lot from media and sources I like, trying to put my own twist on it and incorporate it into my world. For this version of the setting, I (at least I hope I did well enough) stripped down the more apparent sources of inspiration and slimmed off some of the D&D baseline to continue to try to refine it into my own thing. This version of the novel will be a work-in-progress to help me improve it and define where I want it to go, what works or doesn't, and whether I need to add or cut chapters or something. I strongly ask for any kind of advice or critique that can help me as I continue to write, about absolutely anything. I will probably be stopping at some point to move on to a more official/concrete version
