He was dropped off in the morning at the hospital entrance where he was picked up earlier. Scott knew he looked terrible after spending the night at the warehouse. Without wasting time, he walked into the hospital and asked to see Betty Stones, only to be told by the receptionist that she had already been discharged.
"Fuck," Scott hissed as he walked back out of the hospital, frustration burning inside him. His absence was already going to cause another problem between him and Betty, another fight he did not have the strength for.
If she had gone to her parents' place, then it was even worse. They always took her side, no matter what she did or how wrong she was.
Scott was starting to regret being with Betty at all. In his heart, he would always choose Riley over her. The only reason he was still tied to Betty was because of the pregnancy.
