"While I can't give you any guarantees, and it's impossible for me to revolve around the Namekians forever, I can still offer some suggestions."
Vegeta finally spoke after observing the scenery outside for a long time.
"Consider it repayment—for helping me unlock my potential, increase my strength, and allowing me to use the Dragon Balls without conditions."
Vegeta disliked owing anyone.
Although he had already killed Frieza and King Cold, eliminating the greatest threats to Namek, that alone wasn't enough.
He would still need the Dragon Balls in the future.
So, before leaving, he decided to give the Grand Elder some guidance—enough to let the Namekians determine their own path.
The Grand Elder slowly opened his eyes.
A flash of surprise, joy, and anticipation appeared within his cloudy pupils.
Seeing that he wasn't interrupted, Vegeta continued, calmly revealing the solution he had in mind.
"Namek Planet—no, it's not the planet itself, but your people—have already become targets."
"As the creators of the Dragon Balls, you should understand better than anyone how irresistible the power of wishes is."
"Otherwise, Frieza and King Cold wouldn't have come. Cooler wouldn't come next. And there would be no end to future invaders."
Vegeta's voice was steady, cutting straight to the core.
"Namek has already endured multiple invasions. And in the future, there will be many more."
"To truly put an end to this, there are only two options."
"First—your people must grow stronger. Strong enough to repel any outsider."
"And second…"
Vegeta paused.
"Find a completely new way out."
"For a long time in the future, the Namekians are destined to face a great catastrophe."
"If you truly intend to draw a line between the old era and the new—then destroy this planet entirely."
The Grand Elder's eyes widened.
"After that," Vegeta continued, "use Porunga to create a new Namek Planet."
"At that point, have Porunga conceal the interstellar coordinates of the new planet."
"Without coordinates, those who covet the Dragon Balls will lose their target."
"They won't even be able to find you—let alone invade."
Vegeta turned slightly, watching the Grand Elder's reaction.
The old Namekian was deeply shaken.
His mind raced, bold ideas surfacing one after another.
At the same time, Vegeta's words overlapped perfectly with visions he had once foreseen.
Namek destroyed.
The people migrating.
A new Namek reborn.
"I was shortsighted," the Grand Elder finally said softly.
"This path… I should have seen it myself."
"To completely sever future invasions… perhaps this truly is the best solution."
His resolve was clear.
Before his life ended, he would make all necessary arrangements.
This would be the final protection he left for his people.
"You don't have much time left," Vegeta said quietly.
"At most a month."
With his current spiritual perception, Vegeta could clearly sense the remaining life force within the Grand Elder.
Under normal circumstances, the Grand Elder should have died long ago.
When Vegeta first left Namek, he believed they would never meet again.
Now, he understood—something had been sustaining him.
Vegeta didn't know that Senzu Beans, given by Goku, had extended the Grand Elder's life.
Though Senzu Beans primarily restore stamina and injuries, for the Grand Elder, they nourished his failing body and slowed the consumption of his soul.
"I doubt I have more than thirty days left," the Grand Elder said calmly.
"Perhaps… not even twenty."
Birth, aging, sickness, and death.
He had long accepted them.
But until the Namekians' future was secured, he couldn't rest.
"If I remember correctly, the Dragon Balls still need fifty days to recover," Vegeta said.
"Yes," the Grand Elder nodded.
"But even if I pass away, the Dragon Balls won't disappear with me."
"I will pass my mantle to Second Elder Muk, with Third Elder Murin assisting him."
"They will lead the children well."
"And they both see you as the hero who saved our race."
"Is that so?" Vegeta chuckled lightly.
"That's unexpected."
Whether it was genuine admiration or polite gratitude didn't matter to him.
In the original timeline, Second Elder Muk had died by Vegeta's own hands.
Now, fate had reversed completely.
After speaking a bit longer, Vegeta departed.
He used Instant Transmission, leaving without meeting the other Namekians.
That wasn't necessary.
It would only add burdens he didn't want.
Returning to the Spaceship
By the time Vegeta returned, Bulma was just finishing her farewell with Goku and Krillin on the observation deck.
Since Vegeta hadn't been present, he only learned what happened through brief reports from his subordinates.
In short—
Bulma cherished this reunion.
They had grown up together.
Even if misunderstandings and conflicts arose, those bonds wouldn't vanish easily.
After confirming that Bulma hadn't been emotionally hurt this time, Vegeta didn't pursue the matter further.
When Bulma entered the ship, Vegeta noticed her unusually cheerful expression.
Before he could ask, she spoke first.
"I told them."
Vegeta froze for a moment.
"You told them… about us?"
Bulma nodded openly.
Vegeta was surprised.
And genuinely pleased.
Bulma telling Goku and Krillin herself meant she had already placed him first in her heart.
After a brief moment of warmth between them, Vegeta asked whether she wanted to depart for Frieza Planet 79.
Bulma agreed without hesitation.
She was almost impatient.
With fifty days left until the Dragon Balls reactivated, staying on Namek served no purpose.
Although Instant Transmission could cross galaxies, without fixed coordinates, it was unreliable.
They still needed to rely on space travel—at least once.
Once a location was reached, Vegeta could mark it permanently.
The ship departed again.
Leaving Namek Planet behind.
For Goku and the others, the reunion had been far too short.
Earth — Somewhere in the West
At this very moment, no one noticed—
A strange machine bearing the mark of Capsule Corporation appeared in a remote mountain wilderness.
If Vegeta had been present, he would have recognized it instantly.
A time machine.
As the machine exited its temporal state, a sharp screech echoed from the hatch.
Corrosive liquid burned through the metal.
A grotesque creature wriggled out.
Cell.
From the future.
In his timeline, he had ambushed Trunks, killed him, and seized the Time Machine.
Due to the limitations of time travel, Cell was forced to regress into his embryonic state.
Though he retained all memories and consciousness, his power was barely enough to break free.
After crawling a short distance, he fell into deep slumber.
He needed time to evolve.
To grow.
To begin absorbing life.
This was why he chose this era.
In the future, he had been born too late.
Unable to surpass Android 17 and Android 18.
Now—
The past was filled with endless life energy.
He was destined to reach Perfect Form.
Five Days Later — Planet 79
After five days of travel, Vegeta and Bulma arrived.
No—
It was no longer Frieza Planet 79.
It had been renamed Vegeta 79.
The deaths of Frieza and King Cold had spread throughout the galaxy.
Under Hera's guidance, more than half of the former Frieza Force had begun to recognize Vegeta as the new ruler.
Vegeta didn't care.
Titles meant nothing to him.
His goal was far greater.
He was consolidating power to gather resources—for himself, and for Bulma.
Vegeta believed Bulma could one day control the universe's economic lifeline.
And guide its development.
The future was limitless.
Inside the base, Vegeta watched as Bulma efficiently issued orders.
With Hera and familiar subordinates assisting her, she quickly took full control.
Security?
Loyalty?
That wasn't a problem.
Vegeta was standing right there.
He had already arranged capable guards for her:
Lelo — Battle Power 3,000
Chris — Battle Power 2,000
Dozens more followed, each with power rivaling Saibamen.
Absolute obedience.
Bulma had never experienced such authority.
From Earth to the cosmos—
Her stage had expanded completely.
One Month Later
Under Bulma's management, the entire base was reorganized.
Personnel were reassigned.
Ability replaced status.
Rewards and punishments were clear.
Efficiency skyrocketed.
At first, many resisted.
But when they realized they could gain more under Bulma than ever before—
Resistance vanished.
Bulma understood one truth better than anyone:
Managing people was nothing more than understanding human nature.
And rewarding it correctly.
