Chapter 36 - Chapter 35: Is a Million Combat Power Really Strong?

"Hmph!"

A roar burst from Frieza's mouth. In an instant, the battle suit clinging to his body was torn apart by a terrifying force, shattering into countless fragments.

Only now did Frieza fully reveal his first form.

Beneath the ruined battle suit was his natural bone armor—far tougher and more resilient than any artificial equipment.

After stretching his body and making sure he was completely loosened up, Frieza no longer hesitated.

"Nyaaaah!"

A hysterical scream erupted from his throat.

Terrifying power surged outward. His aura exploded, and his combat power began to skyrocket.

As the transformation unfolded, a horrifying pressure spread out for dozens of miles in every direction.

Rocks and sand lifted into the air, only to be crushed into fine powder by the overwhelming force.

The mountain beneath Frieza—already damaged earlier—was completely flattened, reduced to nothing under the sheer pressure of his ki.

A light purple membrane peeled off Frieza's body like shedding skin.

Immediately after, his physique began to swell and expand.

His body stopped growing once it reached nearly two and a half meters tall, and his new form finally stabilized.

From an infant-like frame, he had grown into a fully developed adult.

"It's been far too long since I transformed," Frieza said lazily as he stretched his limbs.

"I've gotten rusty. I didn't expect it to take this much effort. You've been waiting a while, little Vegeta."

After the transformation, his strength had more than doubled. His combat power had officially exceeded one million.

With that came Frieza's lost confidence.

His kingly presence returned in full, his posture once again that of someone who believed himself absolutely invincible.

Vegeta didn't care.

He stepped forward and leapt onto the island where Frieza stood.

And honestly—

Frieza was damn tall.

Standing face to face, even Vegeta felt a bit of pressure from Frieza's height.

"Yeah… getting taller really is urgent," Vegeta sighed inwardly.

Ten centimeters…

No—at least twenty.

In his previous life, he'd been over 180 centimeters tall.

If he hadn't inherited everything from Vegeta, viewing the world from this height would have felt completely unnatural.

"Tsk! Little Vegeta," Frieza sneered. "I really don't know what to say about you. You still dare stand in front of this king after witnessing my transformation?"

"Do you realize something? In my eyes right now, you're nothing more than an ant—one I can crush whenever I want."

"Then crush one for me to see," Vegeta shot back without hesitation.

Frieza wasn't angered. Instead, he looked amused and began making promises again.

"Actually, we don't have to be enemies," Frieza said smoothly.

"As long as you hand over those two Dragon Balls, I can guarantee this—starting today, you will be the number one person beneath my throne."

"So… one person above ten thousand?" Vegeta scoffed.

"No, no, no," Frieza chuckled.

"My forces are far more than ten thousand. Hundreds of millions, even. Aside from me, the Universe Emperor, you, Vegeta, would be the greatest of them all."

The mockery in Frieza's eyes grew deeper.

Vegeta couldn't help but laugh.

At first, it sounded casual—but the longer it went on, the more twisted it became.

"Shut up!" Frieza snapped, clearly hearing the disdain in Vegeta's laughter.

His face darkened. "Don't say I didn't warn you. My current combat power has already exceeded one million!"

"So what?" Vegeta replied calmly. "Is a million really that impressive? Didn't you say you could crush me? Go on. Try."

He stopped laughing, his eyes filled with playful contempt.

A mere one million.

He wouldn't even need to get serious.

Vegeta was simply indulging Frieza's vanity—letting him savor his confidence before crushing him with despair.

"Then die!"

With a furious roar, Frieza stomped forward, shattering the ground beneath his feet, and threw a savage punch straight at Vegeta's face.

The speed was indeed astonishing.

But Vegeta had already anticipated it.

He raised one hand and casually blocked the punch.

Frieza's eyes widened in shock.

Vegeta sneered. "Is that all? Too weak."

"What?!"

Veins bulged on Frieza's forehead, his expression twisting violently.

The next instant, a storm of punches and kicks rained down on Vegeta.

There was no doubt—this form was far stronger than his first.

But the gap was still painfully obvious.

In their normal states alone, the difference between them was over two million in combat power.

Despite Frieza's superior height and physique, his movements looked clumsy in Vegeta's eyes.

"Too slow. Too slow. Too slow!"

Vegeta dodged effortlessly, then seized an opening and drove a punch straight into Frieza's abdomen.

The blow made Frieza retch violently, sour liquid mixed with blood spraying from his mouth.

Without hesitation, Vegeta leapt up and delivered a flying kick to Frieza's neck, sending him hurtling backward.

Boom!

A mountain on a nearby island shattered instantly, collapsing into rubble as Frieza was buried beneath it.

But this time was different.

Frieza reacted quickly, unleashing his power to blast himself free before being completely buried, and hovered in the air.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Die!"

Consumed by rage, Frieza unleashed a frantic barrage of energy blasts toward Vegeta.

Explosions echoed endlessly.

The island Vegeta had been standing on was completely obliterated, reduced to nothing under the relentless bombardment.

For dozens of miles, the ground trembled violently, as if the planet's crust itself were shifting.

The scene was terrifying beyond words.

With combat power exceeding one million, Frieza's reckless attacks were enough to reshape continents.

If he truly went all out, he could shatter a planet the size of Namek with a single full-power blast.

"Ohohohoho! Let's see how arrogant you can be now!"

After nearly two minutes of nonstop bombardment, Frieza finally stopped, laughing cruelly.

The silence that followed was heavy.

Frieza began to pant slightly—continuous attacks like that consumed a great deal of energy.

Without a scouter, he was effectively blind. He had no way of knowing whether Vegeta was alive or dead.

Of course, he preferred to believe Vegeta had been blown into nothing.

"You look pretty tired."

Suddenly, a voice came from above.

Frieza's heart clenched. He snapped his head upward.

Vegeta was already there, floating above him, looking down with a playful gaze.

That familiar expression—

It sent a fresh wave of panic through Frieza's chest.
