"What… what is going on?" he muttered, stunned.
Vegeta, who should have died long ago, was alive.
Not only alive, but able to transform into a Super Saiyan with terrifying power.
And Gohan, who had recently been toyed with by Android 17 and Android 18, had crushed them effortlessly.
It wasn't even a fight.
It was a massacre.
With Android 17 and Android 18 eliminated so easily, Cell's hope of becoming Perfect vanished.
He had planned to wait for an opportunity and seize the remains.
Now, if he were discovered, he would die.
Even at his current level, he was only comparable to Android 17 or Android 18 individually.
Gohan alone could kill him.
[I have to escape this cursed place now, or I'm finished!]
After the Battle
At the center of the plains, Vegeta nodded at Gohan.
"Well done. Clean and decisive. No mercy."
Gohan smiled faintly.
"It's finally over…"
For more than ten years, this nightmare had haunted him.
Now he had avenged everyone.
Yet instead of relief, he felt emptiness.
Vegeta immediately sensed it.
"You brat. Do you think killing Android 17 and Android 18 means you can stop?" Vegeta's tone turned sharp. "The Android crisis isn't over."
Gohan's eyes refocused. "It's not?"
"Of course not. And even beyond this crisis, there are beings so powerful that even I am insignificant before them. I'm still striving forward, and you're already thinking of retiring?"
The words struck hard.
"I understand, Uncle Vegeta," Gohan said firmly. "I will protect this world."
Vegeta nodded in satisfaction.
Then his gaze shifted toward the distant mountains.
"You've watched long enough. Come out, Cell."
The Final Bug
Cell froze.
He had been discovered.
Under the combined gaze of Vegeta, Gohan, and Trunks, a green figure slowly stepped out.
The moment Gohan sensed him, he felt familiar auras within Cell.
Goku's.
Piccolo's.
Krillin's.
Tien Shinhan's.
Yamcha's.
Even Vegeta's.
"What is that thing?" Gohan asked in shock.
"That's Cell," Vegeta replied calmly. "Dr. Gero's ultimate creation. Made from our cells. This is only his initial form. If he absorbs Android 17 and Android 18, he evolves. Absorb both, and he becomes Perfect."
Gohan's eyes filled with killing intent.
"So this is the true threat…"
Cell glared at Vegeta. "How do you know so much about me?"
Vegeta smirked. "Because I've already killed you once."
Cell's pupils contracted.
"I'm not the Vegeta of this timeline," Vegeta continued. "I came from the past. In another timeline, I destroyed the future version of you."
"Impossible!" Cell roared. "Even as a Super Saiyan, you can't defeat me!"
He made a fatal mistake.
Provoking Vegeta.
"Oh? You don't believe me?" Vegeta vanished.
In the next instant, he appeared directly in front of Cell.
Cell's heart skipped.
Boom!
A devastating blast engulfed him completely.
There was no scream.
No resistance.
Cell was reduced to ash instantly.
The so-called ultimate Android was nothing before Vegeta.
Vegeta lowered his hand casually.
"Now the Android crisis is truly over."
If Cell had stayed hidden, Vegeta might have let Gohan fight him for experience.
But provoking him sealed his fate.
The Truth About Power
Trunks stared blankly. "It's… over?"
Gohan turned toward Vegeta. "Uncle Vegeta, how strong are you now? That Cell wasn't weak, yet you erased him so easily."
Vegeta folded his arms.
"Do you remember power levels?"
"Yes."
"Good. Trunks' base power is about 2.2 million. Yours exceeds 20 million. Mine is 80 million."
"80 million?!" Gohan and Trunks exclaimed.
"That's just base form," Vegeta continued. "Super Saiyan multiplies base power by 50. That means Trunks reaches around 110 million. You reach about 1 billion. As for me, 4 billion."
Gohan swallowed.
"And that's not all," Vegeta added. "The form I maintain is Super Saiyan First Grade Full Power. Perfect control. Sustained combat. Roughly a 70 to 80 times multiplier."
"That means… over 6 billion," Gohan breathed.
"Correct."
The difference was overwhelming.
"No wonder Cell couldn't block even one attack," Gohan said.
He finally understood the gap.
But Vegeta wasn't finished.
A mysterious smile appeared on his face.
"You don't think Super Saiyan First Grade Full Power is the limit, do you?"
The wind swept across the plains.
Gohan and Trunks felt their hearts pound.
If that wasn't the limit—
Then how far could a Saiyan truly go?
