Chapter 1 - 1.

Absolutely — here is C

Chapter 1

A wave crashed against the shore—gentle, almost lazy—pushing a broken plank and a battered boy onto the sand.

Ravian.

His body twitched as he gasped for air, coughing hard as sand scraped his throat.

"Ghh—damn…!"

He dug his fingers into the wet sand, forcing himself to crawl forward even though every muscle screamed like it wanted to tear apart.

Then—

DING.

A metallic voice echoed inside his skull.

Ravian froze.

"…You've gotta be kidding me."

A system window. A beach he didn't recognize. And no memory except the storm swallowing him whole.

He gritted his teeth and pushed himself to his feet using a broken plank as a crutch.

A sudden burst of laughter echoed above him—bright, wild, annoyingly carefree.

Ravian's head jerked upward.

A small boy stood on the cliff, wind whipping at his straw hat as he shouted toward the sea.

"Shanks! Your crew is so cool!"

Ravian's breath caught.

(…That's Luffy.)

The grin. The scar under his eye. The chaotic energy that felt like it could start a war or save the world.

He didn't blink. He didn't speak.

He was too stunned to breathe, let alone reveal himself.

(Wait—no way. Don't tell me… I landed in One Piece?)

A cold shiver ran down his spine, but he forced himself to hide deeper behind the rocks until the boy ran off.

"Okay… what the hell am I supposed to do now…?"

Foosha Village came into view as Ravian stuck to the trees like he was dodging a sniper. Voices spilled from the tavern, loud and chaotic.

Ravian moved closer and peeked through the window.

Inside, the place was absolutely buzzing.

The Red-Haired Pirates filled the room—laughing, drinking, tossing food, bragging about their adventures like they weren't borderline criminals.

At the center of it all sat him.

Shanks.

Ravian's eyes widened.

(Whoa… no way. Seeing him in person hits way harder than watching him on a screen.)

Shanks laughed as Luffy demanded a drink like he was a grown pirate. The crew teased him. Makino fussed like an exhausted babysitter.

Ravian couldn't look away.

This wasn't just a tavern scene.

This… was history.

A loud slam snapped the moment in half.

Ravian jerked back from the window as the door burst open.

Higuma the Mountain Bandit strutted in with his gang, acting like the world owed him rent money.

The pirates stayed calm—almost too calm.

(They're not scared. They're bored.)

Higuma demanded sake. Makino apologized. A bottle shattered on the floor.

Shanks didn't flinch.

Ravian narrowed his eyes.

(This is that moment. The lesson Luffy never forgets.)

Higuma pushed, shouted, threatened.

Shanks just smiled, crouched down, and picked up spilled food like it wasn't a big deal.

Higuma thought it meant weakness.

Ravian understood instantly.

(Real strength doesn't waste itself on idiots.)

Hours later, Ravian watched Luffy sneak behind the bar. The boy opened a small chest with all the curiosity of someone who had never learned self-control.

Ravian's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.

(The Gomu Gomu no Mi—oh hell no—)

Too late.

Luffy took a massive bite.

"BLEUUURGH! WHO MADE THIS?!"

Ravian slapped a hand over his face.

(And there it is. The idiot ate the fruit.)

Shanks turned. Chaos detonated.

Ravian slipped away before the tavern blew up for real.

By sunset, Ravian crouched on a hill above the port, watching Higuma drag Luffy toward the sea. Luffy's stretching limbs flailed wildly—completely useless.

Ravian's jaw clenched.

(He's literally a rubber noodle with no manual included…)

Higuma shoved the boy onto a boat and set off.

Ravian didn't move.

He wanted to.

He couldn't.

This moment mattered too much.

Fog rolled over the sea. Higuma threw Luffy into the water. The boy struggled, panicking as the waves pulled him under.

A massive shadow stirred beneath the surface.

Ravian's breath stopped.

(No way—)

The Sea King erupted from the water with a roar so loud it shook the air.

Ravian stumbled backward.

(It's huge—seriously WHAT—?!)

The monster lunged.

A gunshot cracked through the fog.

A small boat shot across the water like a bullet.

Shanks appeared out of nowhere, grabbing Luffy with one arm—literally one arm—and pulling him close.

Then he turned toward the Sea King.

His eyes sharpened.

His presence changed.

Ravian felt it hit his entire body like pressure crashing down.

(…Haki.)

Pure dominance.

The Sea King recoiled instantly and vanished into the depths.

Shanks held Luffy close, one arm gone but smiling softly.

"You're safe now."

Ravian exhaled shakily.

He had just watched the turning point of an era.

Not as a fan. Not as a reader.

But as someone standing in the shadows of a world he was never meant to enter.

A silent witness to the birth of a legend.
