Boren, who had witnessed Gideon's confrontation, was already waiting beside Sage.
"Before anyone becomes concerned, we're not preparing to march against a mercenary company," Sage announced after everyone had taken their seats. "I have enough trouble maintaining our buildings without adding the expense of repairing someone else's."
