The moment she said those words, Xavier choked on his tea and began coughing. Freya hit him on the back gently, her face going as red as a tomato at the words.
She couldn't believe that Elisa would say such a thing. Well, they were married, so perhaps it was to be expected. But their relationship wasn't like that.
"Aunt Elisa…" Xavier murmured, finally recovering. "I don't think that's necessary… Freya's still getting used to the city and everything."
Elisa picked up her teacup and took a sip of it before she said, "What are your thoughts, Freya? Ignore this brat. I clearly need to tell Steven to give him some lessons."
Xavier frowned at her words. "Don't bring General Markson into this."
So, General Markson is Steven. Guess it's his first name. Freya quietly thought to herself.
Though it did then raise the question of why Xavier used his first name instead when being called instead of his last name like the general. Was it because he hated his last name?
