Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 3 THE DUNGEON LORD RISES

The dungeon shook harder now

not from collapse,

but from something awakening.

Aurelion slid across the stone floor, slime body glowing with blue-white aurora light from Froznir's power.

"Mind Core Oracle, what's coming?"

Scanning…

Threat Detected: Dungeon Lord

Classification: S Rank Apex Monster

Danger: None Host has complete immunity

Aurelion pulsed, the closest thing to a grin a slime could make.

"Perfect."

A wave of killing intent crashed through the corridor.

Then

BOOOOOM

A massive stone gate exploded outward.

Steps shook the entire dungeon as something approached.

A figure emerged:

A giant creature made of obsidian and molten cracks, wearing a bone crown

The Molten Abyss Tyrant.

Twenty meters tall.

Four burning arms.

Eyes of liquid magma.

It roared, the air turning red-hot.

Froznir whispered in Aurelion's mind:

"Abyss Tyrant… a predator that devours dragons. It killed thousands in ancient wars."

Aurelion felt no fear.

"I'm immune to fire… heat… physical… spiritual… curse… magic…"

He was simply unstoppable.

The Tyrant slammed a burning fist down

BOOM

A dust cloud exploded

And cleared just as fast.

Aurelion didn't move.

The hit did nothing.

Not a scratch. Not even a wobble.

Aurelion spoke calmly.

"My turn."

Draconic Channeling: Froznir

Aurelion's slime body erupted in icy light, forming a towering silhouette of frost.

A giant spectral dragon head formed behind him.

Froznir's voice thundered:

"Freeze the beast!"

Aurelion inhaled

FROST GOD BREATH

A beam of divine ice shot forward.

The Tyrant tried to raise its arms

Too late.

The breath washed over it, freezing molten rock, cracking obsidian bones, sealing all four arms in crystal-blue ice.

The ground froze for miles.

The dungeon ceiling formed hanging icicles the size of swords.

The Tyrant screamed

a sound that shook the air

then shattered one arm free, molten blood dripping.

It tried to retaliate.

It couldn't.

Everything it did…

everything it was…

meant nothing.

Aurelion walked forward.

"You threaten dragons."

He fired a second beam.

"You threaten me."

An explosion of ice swallowed the Tyrant.

When the mist cleared

Its entire lower body was frozen to the floor.

Its upper body crumbled like ash.

"This world is full of things I can devour."

At the center of the Tyrant's chamber, glowing like a beating heart

A Dungeon Core.

Blue. Ancient. Alive.

The Mind Core Oracle activated:

Dungeon Core detected

Absorbing it will make you the new Dungeon Sovereign

Benefits: unlimited mana, control of all monsters, immortality within domain

Aurelion slid forward.

"Mine."

He touched the core.

Absorb.

The entire dungeon shook violently then bowed to him.

Glowing lines of mana spread through every wall, ceiling, and floor as the dungeon recognized its new master.

TITLE ACQUIRED: DUNGEON SOVEREIGN

SKILL ACQUIRED: WORLD CORE FORGE

HOST HAS GAINED COMPLETE CONTROL

Aurelion felt it.

Every monster.

Every corridor.

Every trap.

Every hidden chamber.

All of it belonged to him.

The rocks beneath him split and reformed, creating a floating icy throne made by the dungeon itself.

Froznir appeared beside him within the inner domain, wings stretching proudly.

"Aurelion," he said, "in this world… you may become something greater than a dragon."

Aurelion's slime body pulsed with a cold, calm, absolute presence.

"Good," he said.

"I plan to devour everything that stands in my way."

The dungeon trembled in approval.

The world had gained a monster who wasn't meant to exist

a devourer with infinite growth, total immunity, and a dragon's power.

And this was only the beginning.
