Chapter 75 - Spring Before the Firestorm

April draped Bi Yun Mountain in a warmth so soft it felt like an embrace from the world itself. Petals drifted through the air with every breeze—white, pink, yellow, violet—turning the mountain paths into rivers of color. The entire mountain hummed with life, as though spring had decided to take residence only here and nowhere else.

Raj walked down a narrow trail surrounded by wildflowers. The sun filtered through layered foliage, sprinkling shifting gold patterns across the path. On his left, Tie Fan—the older Duan sister—held his arm gently, her steps graceful and composed. She carried the stable warmth of a mature woman: confident, affectionate, and proud. On his right, Tie Shan, the lively younger sister known as Iron Hammer, skipped slightly as if the mountain's breeze itself pushed her along.

Behind them trailed Yuxin, her fox ears flicking with each shy glance she risked in Raj's direction. She held her sleeves nervously with both hands, her steps light but her presence radiating gentle devotion.

It had been half a month since she moved into the Banana Cave under the Duan sisters' guidance. She slept with the sisters at night, learned from Tie Fan, followed their routines—and every day, she stole glances at Raj with eyes full of longing and restraint. The restraint was what struck him most. Yuxin was so deeply in love that she feared even breathing too loudly might offend either sister or him.

And even Raj, who carried patience like a second nature, couldn't help feeling a knot of tension coiling in him. Which man wouldn't?

He had the four personal maids of the Duan sisters, yes. But side dishes could never replace the main course. And Yuxin—soft, beautiful, loyal, and endlessly tender—had been circling his life like a small moon waiting for its tide to rise.

Tie Shan suddenly burst forward, her energy sparkling as usual. "The toy Brother-in-law brought—the video game console—is too fun! I played until my fingers cramped!"

Raj smirked. Even after becoming intimate with him, she insisted on calling him Brother-in-law. She claimed it added a thrilling forbidden flavor. Raj secretly found it amusing—and strangely pleasant.

Tie Fan, her older sister, rolled her eyes affectionately, squeezing Raj's arm. "Honestly, Raj, every day you show us something we've never seen. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if you pulled a dragon out of your pocket."

Yuxin shyly added, "Everything Young Master Raj brings is… wonderful…"

Tie Fan chuckled. "Little fox, you're so timid! If you were bolder, Raj would've taken you long ago. Why make your heart ache like this?"

Yuxin's cheeks flamed red. "I'm afraid… Young Master Raj will think I'm too forward…"

Tie Shan clicked her tongue. "Brother-in-law took us decisively—even the maids! But with you, he pretends to be a saint!"

Yuxin lowered her head, her lashes trembling, eyes welling up.

The sisters immediately wrapped their arms around her and pulled her aside. The three huddled together, whispering secrets—Tie Shan with exaggerated gestures, Tie Fan with calm authority, Yuxin with timid nods and gasps. After a long, intense whispering session—filled with encouragement, smirks, and some shocked squeaks—Yuxin finally nodded with trembling determination.

"…I'll leave everything to you, Sister Fan… Sister Shan…"

When they returned, Raj was tending to a small portable grill. Smoke curled upward, carrying a delicious aroma that mingled with the mountain's floral perfume. Solar panels glinted above the cave entrance, silent proof of Raj's modernization efforts: refrigerators, electric stoves, old computers, a few TVs—even game consoles. The demons, long used to simple forest life, were now enjoying a taste of modern comfort.

Nearby, the four maids—Chunhua, Xiayu, Qiuyue, and Dongxue—were diligently grilling skewers with flustered cheeks and focused eyes.

Suddenly Tie Shan darted to Raj and hugged him tightly. "Brother-in-law! Come with me! I found something amazing!"

Without waiting, she dragged him along the narrow mountain path.

The view opened suddenly—and even Raj stopped breathing for a moment.

A field of golden rapeseed flowers spread endlessly across the terrace—three football fields long, shimmering under the bright sun. The breeze moved the blossoms like waves of liquid gold.

And in the very center stood Tie Fan and Yuxin.

Tie Fan's long raven hair danced in the wind. She looked breathtaking—regal, composed, warm. Yuxin stood beside her, petite and fragile-looking, her fox ears twitching nervously, her eyes soft as spring water.

Raj stood still, stunned by the vision.

Tie Fan approached first, taking his arm with quiet tenderness. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

Raj exhaled. "The flowers are beautiful. The scenery is beautiful. But the people…" His voice softened. "…are even more beautiful."

Tie Shan hopped over proudly. "Brother-in-law, let's play a game! You cover your eyes and try to catch us. If you catch someone—you can kiss her for as long as you want!"

Raj raised an eyebrow. "As long as I want?"

"As long as you want." she repeated with smug certainty.

He glanced at Yuxin. The fox girl instantly flushed from her neck to the tips of her ears.

Tie Shan groaned. "Yuxin doesn't mind! What are YOU hesitating for?"

Raj chuckled. "Alright. Let's play."

Tie Fan took out a white silk scarf and tied it gently over his eyes. Her whisper brushed his ear. "When you catch someone, husband… you may touch to confirm."

Raj's heart stirred. He understood. Tie Fan, the older sister—his first woman in this world—was giving her blessing visibly, openly, gracefully.

"Start!" Tie Shan shouted.

Raj pretended to wander blindly through the field, hands outstretched, listening for giggles and breaths. The petals brushed against his legs like soft golden feathers.

Then—

His fingertips brushed a narrow waist. Soft. Warm. Trembling.

He touched gently, guiding his hands across familiar and unfamiliar curves. "Iron Hammer? No—your waist is thicker and you're always tense." His hands rested higher. "Fan? No—Fan is fuller, more mature here…"

Yuxin let out the smallest sound. "H-hmm…"

Raj removed the blindfold.

Yuxin stood before him—eyes shimmering, tears brimming.

He stepped forward and pulled her into a firm embrace. Her small hands clutched his robe desperately, her entire body melting against him. "Yuxin," he whispered, "you've endured long enough."

Her restraint shattered. She cried into his chest, trembling. "You heartless man… why did you ignore me… why the maids… why everyone else but me… I hated it… I hated waiting…"

Raj stroked her back with slow, soothing motions. "I didn't ignore you. I know your father, that old fox's plan, but I can't use Fan's things to exchange for you. That's not fair to Fan, and it's not fair to you... In my heart, you are all my priceless treasures."

"Then why are you willing to take me now?" Yuxin felt sweet in her heart when she heard Raj's words. The man she liked was indeed not a person who liked the new and disliked the old.

"I feel sad to see you suppressing your nature and pleasing Fan..." Raj gently stroked Yuxin's pink back and said, "So I decided that I will help your father with Fan's banana fan in the future, but I will not use it to exchange for you, because if I marry you, it is only because I love you, not because of any exchange..."

"Raj..." Yuman felt that the love in her heart was about to burst out of her chest, "Take me... Raj, I don't want to wait any longer, I've waited long enough..."

Raj said nothing, lowered his head and smelled it... As the flower field swayed, the two people in the center of the flower field finally faced each other frankly and sank together into the sea of golden flowers—

With a scream... followed by a burst of blushing groans... Half an hour later... the Tie sisters topped up... Two hours later... the Tie sisters also began to beg for mercy... In the end, the four maids who came to look for their respective mistresses topped up again...

It's just that Raj was a little happy today, so he let go of his restraints,... directly from morning to night... The women all opened their three doors and rolled their eyes..."

Later that night, in the main bedroom of Banana Cave—where Raj had replaced the original stone bed with a massive Simmons mattress—seven gorgeous women lay collapsed across the soft surface.

Tie Fan lay nearest being Raj's pillow, breathing softly. As the first woman Raj took in this world, her position remained undisputed. Tie Shan sprawled beside her, hair a wild mess. Yuxin curled timidly near Raj's side, face flushed, legs trembling slightly. The four maids formed a weak, exhausted row along the foot of the bed.

After some silence, Yuxin whispered shyly, "Sister Fan… is Young Master Raj's body okay? He… didn't overdo it… right?"

Tie Fan gave a weak laugh. "Even if he killed all of us tonight, he'd still be fine. Don't worry."

Tie Shan mumbled without opening her eyes, "Brother-in-law was warming up. If he ever went all-out, we'd faint before we realized it."

Raj entered then, carrying bowls of steaming chicken soup. He set them by the bedside. "Drink up. You'll need the strength."

They drank slowly, grateful for the warmth.

Tie Shan then stretched lazily. "So… Yuxin. When are you joining our family officially?"

Yuxin blushed so hard she buried half her face into the blanket. "I… I'll listen to Sister Fan and Sister Shan…"

Tie Fan nodded approvingly. "Good girl. We'll choose an auspicious day."

The next morning, Raj personally escorted Yuxin to the Old Fox King's palace. Upon seeing his daughter walk stiffly and seeing Raj steady and calm, the Fox King nearly fainted from a mix of outrage and resignation.

Raj didn't sugarcoat anything. "I will not give you the Banana Fan. That belongs to Tie Fan and Tie Shan's lineage. But I will help you when needed. Yuxin is not a transaction. She's family."

The Fox King looked at his daughter's shy, glowing face, then at Raj's firm stance… and accepted.

They set an auspicious day. Half a month later, Raj led a grand procession with his inner guards, treating Yuxin with full honor and equality as a wife.

Tie Fan hosted a grand banquet at Bi Yun Mountain. Raj's fierce reputation ensured not a single troublemaker dared show up.

And so began a peaceful phase of life. Raj often took Tie Fan, Tie Shan, and Yuxin to visit the Fox King, stroll through human towns, or explore the mountains.

Until the day the Monkey's transmigration arrived.

Raj and the women were admiring the Nima flower—a strange blossom not belonging to any realm.

"Husband, why do you keep staring at this weird flower?" Yuxin asked.

"I'm launching a 'tucao' attack," Raj replied solemnly.

Tie Shan blinked. "A what?"

"A complaint attack. Burns their internal organs with frustration."

Before she could protest, a voice screamed from above:

"AAAH! MOVE! If you get crushed, I won't take responsibility!"

Raj leapt upward and kicked the falling man directly into a rock wall.

Tie Fan held her Banana Fan defensively. "What creature is this?"

Raj snorted. "Not a creature. Just a disgrace."

Yuxin poked the limp man. "Husband, did you kill him?"

"At most he's seriously injured."

Raj threatened, "If you don't get up, I'll bury you alive."

The man jumped up instantly. "S-spare me! I didn't mean to disturb—!"

Raj's irritation burst. This cheap version of Sun Wukong—his idol ruined. "You should just die." Raj crushed him into paste.

A furious voice roared: "Show mercy!"

Too late.

Guanyin descended. "Evil creature! How dare you—!"

"Oh, shut up," Raj snapped. "You hypocrite."

Guanyin stiffened. "Do you know who you killed?"

"A puppet. Your puppet."

Her anger blazed and attacked them. "Repent for you sin!"

Raj immediately grabbed his women and stored them in his living-space bracelet, then fled toward Banana Cave.

Guanyin followed and shattered the entire cave with lotus petals.

Stone collapsed. Silence fell.

Then—

A roar tore the sky.

"GUANYIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Raj erupted from the ruins, eyes bleeding, veins bulging, killing intent thick enough to suffocate the world.

His bracelet which took a great damage from the attck lay shattered. His women—gone.

He screamed with agony. "I WANT YOU BURIED WITH MY WOMEN!!! I WANT THIS WORLD BURIED WITH THEM!!!"

"Red Queen," he growled, voice breaking. "Detonate the Tsar Bomb. Fire the Rods from God at the Great Thunderclap Temple. Destroy the Divine Pillars."

He hated—

He hated why Guanyin was chasing him—

He hated himself—

He hated why he habitually used his arm to block the falling lotus petals when he was in the cave just now…

"Yes, Master."

Hundreds of suns bloomed across the western sky.

The world trembled.

"That's… that's the direction of the Great Thunderclap Temple…" Guanyin looked at the direction where hundreds of suns were rising in the distance. She knew that that was the Great Thunderclap Temple…

Guanyin trembled. "What… have you done?!"

That's not the end of it. When the hundreds of suns rose to the highest point, a huge hand pressed down towards the fireball caused by the nuclear explosion, as if trying to extinguish it…

Raj's killing intent soared and swallowed the horizon.
