Chapter 8: One-click Comprehension is Just That Awesome
The ninja manual clearly displayed several lines of information.

When the Chunin in charge of the desk saw the rank "Genin," he became even more agitated.
Everyone knew that the number one requirement for joining the ANBU was to be at least a Chunin. But Yuri Kai had joined as a Genin.
Could it be... he had some kind of special ability?
Sure enough, in the abilities section, the words "Top Secret" were written.
"This person is no simple character," the Chunin thought, looking at Yuri Kai with unconcealed shock.
"What, is there a problem?"
"N-No. Go on in." The desk Chunin's mouth twitched, forcing himself to suppress his inner shock.
Yuri Kai shrugged, unconcerned, and walked inside.
He passed through a hidden door and was immediately greeted by rows upon rows of bookshelves. The shelves were organized by the ninjutsu's rank, attribute, and type.
Yuri Kai wasn't in a hurry. He browsed the shelves one by one.
He hadn't realized it before, but now that he was looking, the number of ninjutsu here could only be described as massive. The total number of D-rank and C-rank ninjutsu alone was in the hundreds, far more than were ever shown in the original story.
"No wonder Kakashi Hatake could copy a thousand jutsu. Looking at this, it's not impossible," Yuri Kai mused to himself, raising an eyebrow.
After casually glancing at a few C-rank jutsu, Yuri Kai headed straight for the B-rank section. These C-rank jutsu were useless to him.
The surrounding ANBU ninja noticed this. They all lifted their heads to glance at Yuri Kai, but none of them paid him much mind. They thought his behavior was perfectly normal.
Generally speaking, C-rank ninjutsu were what Chunin were supposed to be learning. B-rank ninjutsu were reserved for Jonin. A Chunin who looked at them simply wouldn't have the ability to perform them. Their chakra reserves, hand seal speed, and chakra control would all be insufficient.
But still, who didn't have dreams? It was perfectly normal for a Chunin to browse B-rank jutsu that were above their level. They had all done the same thing back in the day.
But the result... heh heh.
Remembering their own past experiences, several of the ANBU Chunin shook their heads, thinking to themselves: "In a little while, this rookie will come back, thoroughly demoralized, and obediently start studying C-rank jutsu, just like we did, right?"
As they thought this, they all subconsciously focused their attention on Yuri Kai.
But what they saw next made them all freeze, their eyes full of surprise and bewilderment.
The ANBU rookie had only paused briefly in the B-rank section, flipped through a few scrolls, and then... walked right past it, heading straight for the A-rank ninjutsu.
What was the meaning of this?
Could it be... he looked down on B-rank ninjutsu? Did he think they were too low-level, not powerful enough?
"How arrogant!"
In an instant, a wave of anger rose in the hearts of the many ninja.
For a ninja, one of the most important things was ninjutsu. And for them, as Chunin, the most important ninjutsu were B-rank. This was because mastering a B-rank jutsu meant they would be qualified to be promoted to Elite Chunin, or even Jonin.
This was the dream of every Chunin.
But now, this ANBU rookie was treating the B-rank ninjutsu they all dreamed of with such disdain. How could they not be furious?
If fighting wasn't prohibited here, they would have already gone over to teach him a lesson and show him what a rookie's attitude should be.
However, a scene that made them even angrier unfolded.
They watched as the 12-year-old boy walked up to the A-rank ninjutsu section, flipped through the few scrolls that were there, and then... shook his head, a look of disappointment on his face.
My god, what were they seeing? Did that guy just look down on A-rank ninjutsu, the kind that only Jonin and above could master?
"He's completely shameless!"
"This is outrageous! He just joined the ANBU, and he's already acting like he's somebody!"
"I'll show him what a rookie's place looks like!"
Finally, a Special Jonin couldn't take it anymore. He stormed angrily toward Yuri Kai.
This Jonin had been in that section, painstakingly studying a B-rank ninjutsu. But Yuri Kai had just casually flipped through a few scrolls next to him and walked on by. His attitude was like a Chunin looking at an E-rank jutsu. It was filled with undisguised contempt.
This was a direct insult to him. A slap in the face.
The other ANBU ninja, seeing this, also began to gather, their eyes full of resentment. They, too, had been annoyed with Yuri Kai for a while and wanted to teach this rookie what the rules were.

The system's voice rang out, and Yuri Kai was instantly delighted. A wallet-like object appeared in his system panel. The wallet itself looked very ordinary, like something you could buy anywhere. But when Yuri Kai saw the description, his eyes lit up.

He was getting excited just thinking about it.
"But this A-rank ninjutsu is a bit of a letdown, isn't it?"
[Wind Release: Wind Blade], an A-rank ninjutsu that gathers wind-attribute chakra from the surroundings to form a powerful wind blade for attack.
Yuri Kai had never even heard of this name in the original story. It was clearly not a top-tier jutsu.
But after thinking about it, he relaxed.
Although A-rank ninjutsu were high-level, and many were even forbidden jutsu that only Elite Jonin or Kage-level ninja could learn, it was impossible for all of them to be like that. If they were, what would ordinary ninja do? Regular ninja couldn't possibly learn jutsu of that forbidden level.
But for Yuri Kai, those restrictions didn't exist. Even if an S-rank secret technique was placed in front of him, he could comprehend it instantly.
That was what made the system so awesome.
