"Waaah! We're going to sleep here?" Hannah ran across the hotel room, toward the floor-to-ceiling glass window in the corner.
"Yep."
"It's so taaal!" She pressed her face on the window, staring at the landscape of the city spread below her. The people looked like ants, and the cars were like crawling bugs. "It's taller than Uncle Allen's office!"
"Well...this belonged to Uncle Allen's older sister, so..."
Eugene just realized on this trip that Hannah actually never spent the night at a hotel before. At most, it would be a rented house or a villa—both provided by the McClaires. With this, he also realized that they barely had a vacation anymore after moving to the new house. They were busy moving, and then preparing the wedding, and afterwards...well, Eugene got pregnant.
Going out with baby twins was such a hassle, but perhaps it was needed in the end. At least they were still in the city, indoors, and the hospital was just a ten-minute drive away.
