Employing someone seven days a week was generally a violation of the law, so of course, Olivia had her day off every week. At least, that was the arrangement.
But she basically stayed at home even on her days off, so she ended up taking care of the twins still. Eugene and Arthur had to convince her to go take a vacation or visit her daughter, but only after Ian vouched for them did she finally relent and let the twins in the parents' hands.
The happiest person about this was Hannah—not because she didn't like the nanny, of course, but because she could finally sleep together with the babies!
Well...not really. The babies would still sleep in the bassinet, although the bassinet would be moved to the master bedroom. Still...before they were put in the bassinet, the little birdies played on the bed first until they fell asleep. Arthur put the baby mat on the bed, had the twins there, and let the big sister read them bedtime stories.
