Somewhere in the hearts of River Jade kingdom , a young man of age 15 lived in the palace walls. He was the one and only son of the king. He was elegant and lest I forget very handsome. With his unique features even made him more stunning. He had white golden air and platinum eyes . People called him a god. He was truly a genius who reached the Nascent Soul realm at age 10. He barely spoke to anyone .Always hidden in the palace walls either cultivating or studying. It is not because he did not want to , but his father , The King , never allowed it. The King became super protective after his wife was murdered by her own. After that tragic incident , The King's son became reserved and quiet to the extent that people thought he was deaf and dumb. Others thought he was insolent because he barely smiled. His name was Silver.
'Father' , Silver bowed deeply in respect to his father . 'Son , sigh . I have been worried about you. You have not come out of your room for two months. Is something wrong?' , The King asked as he searched deeply in his son's eyes looking for an emotion or something but he found nothing. It was like his son was a living dead person. He was void of any emotion. Currently , no one knew his current strength because he had concealed it. But he would be very powerful and that was not a lie. 'Nothing is wrong father' , Silver spoke with elegance and calmness. . 'Father , can I ask you for a favor' , hearing Silver ask for a favor was a once in a life time opportunity. Without hesitation , he agreed. 'What is it that you want son' . 'I want to step out of the palace for a bit' , 'Silver said as if it was nothing. To other people it would be nothing but to Silver's father it was a big deal. Before the King could say anything , Silver said, 'I want to help solve the theft cases in the kingdom. I heard from one of the maids that the theft rate has dramatically risen'.
The King could do nothing but agree. This was his only beloved son that reminded him of the wife he loved with his whole heart. This was the first time in years Silver was stepping out of the palace walls in years. The King was a little bit excited about the change he had seen in his son . 'Fine , you can go but not alone. Xavier!' , The King yelled. Xavier was the King's Shadow. He was the King's most trusted confidant. A man with jet black hair and hazel eyes rushed into the court Silver and his father were in and bowed deeply, 'My Lord, how can I be of help' . 'I want you to find the best guards to escort the prince around the town. If any thing happens to Silver , they will be executed immediately', the King ordered. Typical of him. Overprotective of what he loves. Silver was indifferent to his father's grant . He just wanted to go out of the palace walls.
Everyone in the city just stared at the Silver like he had two horns on his head. Everyone has heard of their elegant prince but they did not expect this. Girls were busily drooling over him. He was protected by five Void crossing realm cultivators which was next after Nascent soul realm. Silver was getting uneasy about the way people were staring at him. He approached a store and told his guards to wait outside. Inside was a girl busily reading a book. . It looked like she was engrossed in the book that she failed to notice someone right in front of her. Silver cleared his throat. Immediately the girl turned to see who the person was , she froze. Her cheeks colored as she stared at Silver. 'I would like a black cloak' , Silver requested. What is with everyone nowadays. The girl scrambled to her feet and rushed to get the item her cheeks still red from blushing. Silver sighed inwardly. He gave her a gold coin and collected the cloak. 'Keep the change' , he said not wanting anymore drama. He quickly wore the black cloak and went outside to meet the guards. The girl in the shop was busily kissing the gold coin Silver gave her like a lottery ticket.
'You can go back to the palace' , Silver said in a calm tone. 'But your highness ' , one guard opened up . Silver stared at them deeply and said in a commanding tone , 'It is not a request but an order' . The guards slightly shivered at this tone. It was like he was dangerous. Someone that could kill you in seconds. A murderous aura. The guards bowed slightly , turned around and left. Silver felt relieved. Now he cold go wherever he wants to go without people staring at him. The market place was a busy place and Silver enjoyed looking at the children playing as if nothing in this world mattered to them. He noticed something and stopped dead in his tracks. A thief. A young one too with a magical beast. Perfect combination.
As Rin was inspecting the green pouch she just stole from a man she felt a tap on her shoulder. She thought it was Bokie but when she turned around she froze . His eyes were something else. 'Are you a god or what' , that was the only thing that came out of her mouth when she saw the person in front of her. Bokie joined her at the sight of a person dressed in a black cloak. 'No , I'm not. Did you just take a pouch from a man over there?' , Silver asked with unusual calmness. Rin nodded . 'The rich care only about themselves' , Rin said. They walked together as Rin and Bokie continued their job . 'By the way , I am Rin and this is my friend Bokie . Who are you?' , Rin introduced. ' I'm Silver. Pleasure meeting you' , Silver extended his hands for a handshake. Rin looked at his hands and whispered to Bokie , 'He is crazy . He wants a handshake from us' . 'Just do it' , Bokie whispered back. Rin wiped her hands on her dress and shook his hands. Silver removed the cloak as they entered Rin's house. Rin just stared at him for a minute then shook her head. 'These rich brats' , she muttered under her breath. Little did she know Silver could hear her. The more powerful you are, the more your senses are sharpened. Silver was a bit surprised that the girl in front of him did not drool or faint like most girls would do at the sight of him. 'Would you want to be friends?' , Silver blurted out.
