Darkness.
"Loser!" someone shouted.
That voice still echoed inside my head. Everything was so terrifying. Beaten, stepped on, humiliated, and alone. A life that was so miserable. Even in my last moment, I could not do anything. It was truly disgusting.
Now everything was dark. My life should have been much more peaceful. That was what I thought at first, but something touched my body. It pushed against it.
A moment later, I began to open my eyes. And at that moment, the most horrifying thing appeared in front of me.
"W-what... is this?"
A giant spider was standing right in front of me.
It was huge. Black. Its body was covered in rough hair and its red eyes shone like burning embers. That large creature was eating smaller spiders.
I froze. I could not move. My breath caught because of shock and fear.
When I looked around, I saw hundreds of other small spiders. Some of them were picked up again by that big spider. It ate them so easily. There was no resistance at all.
"Is it eating its own children?"
The small spiders it ate looked very similar to that big spider. The only difference was their size. The color pattern was almost identical to each other.
The big spider looked toward me. Its leg, or maybe its arm, whatever it was, began reaching in my direction. Only one thing came to my mind.
RUN.
Without thinking, I turned my body and ran as fast as I could, but unfortunately, it did not work. My body was grabbed by the big spider. It lifted me toward its mouth. I tried to escape, but its grip was so strong.
"Damn it. Am I going to die here?"
At that same moment, I noticed something strange about my hands and legs. There were more than what I remembered. I should have had two hands and two legs, but now... why were there four pairs? Wasn't this... strange?
"Do not tell me that I am..."
BOOM!
An explosion echoed from the southern direction. One second later its body fell. I immediately ran with all my strength. I escaped from that place and hid behind a large rock.
From a distance, I saw the big spider leaving the area. It looked like it had something urgent to deal with.
At that moment, I lifted both of my legs, if they could be called that.
"What is this? Why did my hands turn into spider legs? Am I cursed?"
I quickly touched my entire body and realized that not only my arms and legs had changed, but my whole body was now a spider. That made me fall silent for a very long time. I drifted into a long daze realizing that I was now a spider.
"What happened to me? Why am I a spider now?"
At that moment, I remembered what happened before this. Back in the classroom. I was being bullied by three dominant boys. They took my book, threw it away, kicked my chest, stepped on me, and even humiliated me.
But I could not fight back because I was born as a weak child. My body was not like normal kids. I could not do heavy activities because my heart would not tolerate it, and that made me a perfect target for bullying.
"Stupid loser."
"Trash."
"I will record it! Bark like a dog!"
Of course I refused, but right then my head was kicked and hit with a textbook. I had no choice but to obey that demand.
But just before I could bark, suddenly a bright light appeared from the window. Everyone turned their heads toward it.
BOOM.
A huge explosion occurred.

"Ah, so I really died and now..." I looked at my spider legs again. It was relieving because I did not have to live that painful life as a bullied kid anymore. "I am now isekai'd into another world as a spider."
I moved my spider jaw while remembering. I once read isekai novels when I was still alive as a human. I was not sure if it would work, but there was no harm in trying.
"Open status!"
At that moment, a transparent blue screen appeared. It floated right in front of my face. Seeing that, my eyes widened in excitement because what I had read actually worked.
"This is amazing. Can I really..."
