Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Kuzan is on, Kuzan is off.

Four Emperors?

No.

Not on the same level at all!

It was a feeling of powerlessness... facing a "god"!

Just as Kuzan was on full alert, pondering countermeasures...

The White-haired Man slowly... opened his eyes.

They were Rinnegan of a pale purple color, with strange ripples.

His gaze fell calmly upon Kuzan.

There was no emotion in his eyes.

No curiosity, no surprise, and certainly no fighting intent.

Only the indifference of a god looking down on an ant.

"Another lost ant."

He spoke.

His voice was not loud, yet it echoed clearly through the silent space, carrying an undeniable, god-like majesty.

Ant?

Kuzan's eyebrows twitched, and for the first time, a look of offense appeared on his usually lazy face.

He was an Admiral of the Marine.

The world's strongest fighter!

"Aralala..."

He slowly raised a hand, and chilling cold air swept out like a tsunami.

"Looks like he's not a very friendly fellow."

"Ice Age!"

Crack! Crack, crack, crack!

Absolute zero, capable of freezing the entire sea, spread wildly in all directions from Kuzan!

The earth, the air, everything was instantly frozen by this power!

However.

The White-haired Man floating in mid-air, Uchiha Madara, merely watched silently.

The cold air dissipated automatically three feet in front of him, unable to advance an inch.

He didn't even move a corner of his clothes.

"Hmm?"

Kuzan's casual demeanor completely vanished.

Just then, the hairs on his entire body suddenly stood on end!

His Observation Haki was warning him frantically!

An invisible, lethal attack, from a completely unpredictable angle, struck towards his temple!

Without any hesitation, Kuzan's head snapped back.

Whoosh!

The invisible force grazed his nose, and the gust of wind it created even left a shallow scratch on his face.

"What was that?!"

Kuzan was greatly shaken.

He couldn't "see" the enemy at all!

"To be able to dodge the Limbo: Border Jail, your perception is quite interesting."

Uchiha Madara's indifferent voice rang out again, with a condescending scrutiny.

"Limbo... Border Jail?"

Kuzan didn't understand these terms at all, but that didn't stop him from elevating the man before him to the most dangerous level he had ever encountered!

"Ice Block: Pheasant Beak!"

Kuzan no longer held back; a giant ice bird shrieked as it soared into the sky, carrying a sky full of ice shards, and slammed fiercely into Uchiha Madara!

Facing an attack powerful enough to destroy several battleships, Uchiha Madara merely lifted his eyelids.

He didn't even raise a hand.

"Sage Art: Storm Release Light Fang."

A purple beam of light, so faint it was almost invisible, shot out from his mouth.

Swoosh!

The beam of light, at a speed beyond the limit of Kuzan's dynamic vision, instantly pierced through the Pheasant Beak's head!

Boom!!

The massive ice bird exploded in mid-air, turning into a sky full of ice crystals.

And that purple beam of light, after shattering the ice bird, showed no decrease in speed and shot directly towards Kuzan's chest.

Too fast!

No time to dodge at all!

Pfft!

Kuzan's body suddenly shook, and he looked down.

There was a gaping hole in his chest.

There was no blood at the wound, only continuously disintegrating ice crystals.

"Aralala... what a dangerous ability."

Kuzan's body turned into ice shards and reformed nearby, the hole disappearing with it.

He touched his chest, forcing a lazy smile onto his face.

But his heart was pounding frantically.

He almost didn't react in time to elementalize!

"I see, not a body of flesh and blood."

Uchiha Madara's Rinnegan rotated slightly, as if seeing through the essence of Kuzan's ability.

"A bit interesting."

"However, this is as far as it goes."

As his voice fell.

The nine pitch-black orbs behind him moved.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Three Truth-Seeking Orb transformed into three black lightning bolts, sealing off all of Kuzan's escape routes from three different directions!

Kuzan's expression changed drastically!

He could feel a terrifying power within those three black orbs, capable of erasing everything!

"Ice Wall!"

He slammed both hands onto the ground, and dozens of thick ice walls rose from the earth, attempting to block them.

However, it was useless!

Those solid ice walls, strong enough to withstand cannon fire, instantly melted and annihilated upon contact with the Truth-Seeking Orb, like snow under a scorching sun!

Truth-Seeking Orb, the bane of all things!

Kuzan's pupils contracted to their limit!

His ability was being countered!

And just as he was struggling to cope with the pursuing Truth-Seeking Orb, Uchiha Madara's pale purple Rinnegan met his gaze.

Buzz!

Kuzan's mind suddenly went blank!

The world before him began to twist and spin!

He saw Ohara, he saw the burning Tree of Knowledge, he saw Giant Saul's final shouts to him.

He saw Sengoku's furious questioning, he saw the terrified eyes of the populace.

Countless illusions flooded his mind like a tide, tearing at his will!

Genjutsu!

"Damn it!"

Kuzan let out a desperate cry in his heart.

The moment his mind faltered, his body's movements stiffened for an instant.

And it was in that instant.

A pitch-black Truth-Seeking Orb had already arrived before him.

A chill from the depths of his soul completely froze the composure he prided himself on.

That wasn't ice.

That was death!

It was true, absolute death, where he would be completely erased, leaving not even a speck behind!

"Exit!"

"Get me out of here!!"

Kuzan used all his strength to let out the most frantic roar in his heart!

...Foosha Village.

Thud!

In front of White Night's stall, a white light flashed.

A tall figure appeared, stumbling, and then lunged forward, falling to one knee on the ground.

"Hoo... ha... ha..."

Kuzan lowered his head, his shoulders heaving violently, gasping for breath, his forehead covered in fine cold sweat.

His heart, made of ice, was now pounding frantically against his chest, as if it wanted to leap out of his throat.

He stared intently at the White-haired Youth still leisurely eating potato chips in the lounge chair, his lips trembling, unable to utter a single word.

White Night chewed on his potato chips, looking at the Marine Admiral on one knee, looking utterly disheveled, and finally spoke.

His tone was light, with a touch of well-placed surprise.

"Yo."

"You're back."

He tilted his head, his clear eyes sizing Kuzan up and down, a playful curve on his lips.

"Well."

"You're a bit more capable than I imagined."

"Not bad, not bad."

"To last three minutes against a Six Paths-level BOSS, you can already go out and brag."

White Night looked at his expression of having his worldview shattered, and the smile on his face grew more mischievous.

"So, Admiral, sir?"

"Want to challenge him again?"

"Since you're trying so hard, I'll give you a 20% discount next time."
