Our story begins when we see a formless orb of light floating in a infinite space of countless others that look like it, they were apearing and dissapearing at impossible same speeds and the formless orb felt curiosity and a few moments later it too dissapeared.
Appearing in a dark space it heard a deep voice that sounded more ancient than time itself
"Oh what do we have here? I haven't seen one of these in trillions of years"
The formless orb felt fear because of the deep and ancient voice
"You are one of the lucky few who awakened their soul which leads to early intelligence but you not only awakened your soul it actually mutated,and if you dont know what that means well you're lucky im here"
Even though the orb didn't know what was happening it could somehow understand his words.
"Because it means you will awaken a superpower that suits your soul"
"Oh well would you look at the time i think we both have thing to do so goodbye"
A bright flash of light apeared and everything went black,after an unknown amount of time it woke up to a blinding white light.
In a hospital a baby could be seen sleeping quietly and that is where we see our main character as the baby.
And he suddenly opened his eyes to see his pale mother's face smiling looking like its on the brink of death she had white hair and black eyes
While the baby had the same hair and black abyss eyes.
His mother said with a saddened tone filled with regret that sounded like a mans last dying breath "im sorry mommy cant watch you grow up but the last thing i can do for you is to give you a name zephyr....." Suddenly a beeping sound could be heard and nurses rushed calling for doctors but it was already too late.
Most people might feel sad about their mother's death but this baby only felt that he was supposed to feel a particular emotion but because he couldn't understand what was happening it didint feel anything else,awakening his soul and gaining early intelligence does not mean that he knows things from the beginning it only means he can understand better and learn faster.
The baby was left an orphan and the doctors took him away from his mother's pale corpse then they decided to check if he had any relatives to give him to them unfortunately they couldn't find any relatives so they decided to give him to an orphanage.
The door of the orphanage opened and a kind looking old man opened the door and greeted the doctorsby saying "oh it looks like this old man has some visitors today what can i help you with"
The doctor said with hint of sadness in his tone "this baby had lost its mother so we decided to give him to your orphanage to take care of"
The old man said with a smile"of course im happy to take care of a baby as cute as this one"
And the doctors then said"his name is zephyr by the way"
"Zephyr huh what a unique name"the old man said.
The old man then took zephyr in to the orphanage and put hum into a small baby crib and then took out some milk powder and made milk for zephyr, the milk felt warm and comforting so zephyr enjoyed it and after a few minutes he fell asleep.
The orphanage was made of dark wood it looked old but not that bad it had alot of books that were gathered over the years,a few moments later the other kids found zephyr sleeping and asked the old man with curiosity who's name is maverick"who is this is it a new baby?"
Old man maverick said"yes it's a baby who had just lost its mother and apparently had no relatives to go to do the doctors have him to me because they know I'm the best orphanage head in the country"the old man said sheepishly with a prideful look.
One of the kids said with a deadpan look"they gave him to you because you were the nearest orphanage to the hospital"
The old man looked like he just got his dreams shattered but quickly recovered and said"it's getting late go to sleep"
The kids dejectedly went to bed although the orphanage was not big it was not too small either containing two floors the first floor had a dining area a bathroom and a kitchen.
