Very early that morning, the cadets were gathered and taken to an open ground, where they were grouped into teams.
An instructor stood in front of them, prompting all of them to straighten up and salute.
"Each group is to hunt and kill lower-class corrupted beasts. The team with the highest number of kills wins. However, if another team captures your flag, all your kills will belong to them.
Each group will be assigned one instructor, who is only allowed to interfere in life-threatening situations. If such interference occurs, that group will be disqualified."
