Shards of compressed air blasted out. Sogetsu twisted aside, but several shots punched through his shoulder, flank, and leg, tearing bloody holes through him.
But he endured the pain and closed the distance—his dragon-scaled fist crashing forward.
BOOM!
A shockwave burst outward. The girl's crimson chakra surged—
—and solidified into skeletal armor.
Susanoo — the primal form.
Sogetsu clicked his tongue.
Of course she has it.
The skeletal arm of Susanoo swept across the battlefield.
Sogetsu leapt upward as the ground split beneath the blow, carving a massive crater.
Even the lowest form of Susanoo had terrifying might.
But worse—
The girl was losing control. Her hatred fed her chakra, forcing Susanoo to mutate further—bones thickening into a monstrous, beastlike humanoid.
Susanoo roared.

The beam fired.

She spun.
Sogetsu stood untouched, his wounds closed.

"A rare defensive relic—Moon Paper Doll.
It absorbs one fatal blow.

Her chakra trembled with rage.
"Without Susanoo, you think you can defeat me?!"
Her Mangekyō spun—and the world collapsed.
Tsukuyomi.
Blood-red skies. A mountain of corpses. Broken weapons scattered like a steel forest.
The girl stood atop the highest peak, hair whipping in the crimson wind.
"I'll show you the true power of my Mangekyō… the one your clan sealed me away for!"
The moon above absorbed her Mangekyō pattern—
—and dripped violet light across the space like mercury.
The moment it touched Sogetsu, his body stiffened.
"This is my technique—Eight-Thorn Mark (八棘印).
Anyone whose body or chakra is touched by my power…
is branded.
And once branded—
their mind, body, and senses belong to me."
Sogetsu understood instantly.
"So Tsunade touched your leaking chakra while repairing the seal. That's how you branded her."
The girl smirked coldly.
"You're next.
I'll break you… then I'll make you kill every Uchiha you ever cared for."
Her hatred crackled like lightning.
The Tsukuyomi moon glowed brighter—
And the battle in the mind-realm truly began.
