Chapter 43 - Chapter 43: Mind Training

Goku had been back on Earth for two full days.

He still hadn't gone home.

Instead he sat alone on a high mountain peak, legs crossed, back straight, hands resting loosely on his knees. No punching. No flying. No yelling. Just silence and the same mental loop playing again and again inside his head.

He kept replaying fights.

Him against Jiren. Him against Moro. Him against Gas. Him against Broly — especially the last few days with Broly. Every dodge, every missed punch, every time he almost caught the rhythm of Ultra Instinct but slipped out of it again. He watched himself fail in slow motion, then watched himself almost succeed, then watched it all fall apart again. Over and over. Hours passed. The sun moved. He didn't.

Down in West City, inside Capsule Corporation, the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber hissed open.

Vegeta stepped out.

His training suit was shredded in at least seven places. Blood and sweat had dried into dark patches. His beard had grown long and uneven — almost a full month's worth inside the chamber. He looked tired, but his eyes were sharp.

He walked straight through the hallway without speaking to anyone.

Bulma was already asleep when he entered their bedroom. The lights were off except for the faint blue glow from the screensaver on her computer. She lay on her side, breathing slow and even, one arm thrown over the edge of the mattress.

Vegeta stood there for a few seconds looking at her.

Then he went into the bathroom.

He peeled off what was left of his suit and dropped the torn pieces on the floor. The hot water hit his shoulders and ran down his back in dark streams, washing away dirt, dried blood, and the smell of burnt ki. He stood under the spray longer than he needed to. When he finally stepped out, he wiped the fog off the mirror and stared at himself.

He grabbed the razor and shaved the beard off in quick, practiced strokes. No hesitation. When he finished, the sink was full of black hair.

He dried off, pulled on a pair of black shorts, and walked back into the bedroom.

Bulma hadn't moved.

He lifted the blanket and slid in behind her. One arm went around her waist. He pulled her back against his chest. She made a small sleepy sound but didn't wake up. Vegeta closed his eyes. His breathing slowed to match hers.

High on the mountain, the air suddenly shimmered.

A vertical line of white light appeared, bright enough to hurt the eyes even in daylight. It split open. Vados stepped through. The light snapped shut behind her like it had never existed.

She held her staff loosely in one hand.

Her eyes found Goku immediately.

He opened his own eyes, uncrossed his legs, and stood up in one smooth motion. A small smile appeared on his face when he saw her.

Vados walked closer.

Neither of them spoke at first.

She raised her staff just slightly. A ripple of energy spread outward — invisible, silent. Their ki signatures vanished completely. Their bodies became impossible to sense or see from the outside. A perfect pocket of concealment covered the entire peak.

Another small motion of her hand.

Both their clothes disappeared at the same instant. No sound. No flash. Just gone.

Vados lowered herself onto the grass. She lay on her back, looking up at him.

Goku moved over her, hands and knees on either side of her body.

"Goku," she said quietly. "You need another breakthrough. Soon."

He tilted his head a little, listening.

"The war that's coming… Ultra Instinct won't be enough. Not against Rishi. And definitely not against whatever is standing behind him."

She paused. "A lot of people are going to die. You can't be one of them."

She opened her thighs slowly.

Her skin was smooth. She was already wet.

Goku looked down at her for a long second.

Then he nodded once.

"I'm going to get stronger," he said. "No matter what it takes."

He leaned down. Their lips met — soft at first, then deeper.

While they kissed, his right hand slid up and covered one of her breasts. His thumb brushed over the nipple. She made a small sound into his mouth.

Her hand moved between them.

Fingers wrapped around his cock. She stroked slowly, feeling him thicken and harden in her grip. Veins stood out under her palm.

They kept kissing.

Moans started slipping out between their mouths.

Goku shifted his hips.

He lined himself up. The head of his cock brushed against her entrance — hot, slick, ready.

He pushed forward slowly.

Her walls squeezed tight around him the moment he entered. She gasped against his lips. He kept going until he was buried completely.

For a few seconds neither of them moved.

Just breathing. Feeling each other.

Then he started thrusting.

Slow at first. Deep. Controlled.

Each stroke pulled almost all the way out, then sank back in. The wet sound of their bodies meeting filled the quiet space inside the barrier.

Vados hooked her legs around his lower back.

Her heels pressed against his ass, urging him deeper. Her hands slid up his arms, then gripped his shoulders.

"Harder," she whispered.

Goku listened.

His pace picked up.

Stronger. Faster. The sound turned sharper — rhythmic slapping mixed with their breathing and low moans.

He dropped his head beside hers.

His mouth found her neck. He kissed, then lightly bit the skin there. She arched under him.

One of her hands moved into his hair, fingers curling tight.

The other slid down his back, nails dragging lightly over muscle.

They kept going like that for a long time — changing rhythm, changing depth, sometimes slow and grinding, sometimes fast and almost brutal.

At one point she rolled them over so she was on top.

She rode him hard, hands planted on his chest, head tilted back, eyes half-closed. Goku's hands gripped her hips, helping her move.

Later they were back with him on top again.

Her legs over his shoulders now. He leaned forward, folding her almost in half, driving deep with every thrust.

Neither of them spoke much after the first warning.

Words weren't needed anymore.

When they finally slowed, both of them were breathing heavily.

Sweat covered their skin. The grass underneath them was flattened and damp.

Vados reached up and touched the side of his face.

"You're close," she said quietly. "But you're not there yet."

Goku nodded.

He didn't argue.

She kissed him one more time — slower this time.

Then she sat up. A small wave of her hand brought their clothes back. Another wave dropped the concealment barrier.

"I'll come find you again when it's time," she said.

Before he could answer, she stepped backward into a new line of white light.

It closed. She was gone.

Goku stayed sitting on the grass for a while longer.

Looking at the spot where she had been. Feeling the new weight of what she told him.

Eventually he stood up.

Stretched his arms over his head. Took one long breath of mountain air.

Then he lifted off the ground and flew toward home — finally ready to see his family.

But the fight inside his head kept playing.

It wouldn't stop until he was ready for what was coming.
