Chapter 1 - Quitter

Click, Click, Click...

"Damn it!" I yell, slamming my curled fist on the desk.

No matter how much healing I seem to do, my team won't stay alive. It's past 2am now, this antagonizing cycle of loading a new game, getting screamed at, then losing has continued for hours.

2 Tanks, 3 DPS, and one, lone healer. As usual, I am stuck healing 5, incompetent, teammates who, apparently, are 'much too good to fall back for heals.'

"This is bullshit," I mumble, my screen turning red, announcing another loss.

"I'm sorry, can the pretty princess not handle playing a 6v6 match?" a man taunts into the mic, his voice smooth and irritating.

Oh no, my mic was on. My face grows hot and red, not from embarrassment but from anger.

"You got three kills during the entire match, you seriously want to talk about what I can handle?" I snap back.

This idiot essentially sold the entire game, but he choses to yell at me. Great.

"Listen hear you stu-" he starts, then gets cut off as I load into my home screen.

Its much too late to deal with this, even I know my limits. I have school in the morning and the last thing I would like to hear is a man whine at me. So, I take my headset off, push my chair out from the desk, and make my way towards my comfortable, inviting bed.
