Chapter 27 The Origin of Non-Controlled Goods Is Not Important

Arriving at the cafeteria, Allen and Matt sat at a table. The Bureau of Control had demonstrated its capabilities.

Their viral risks had been completely eliminated, and without that pressure, both Allen and Matt felt much more relaxed.

Although they might not be working together as a team anymore, they had cooperated before, so they ate together. As for the gambler… he was still in the hospital.

Because of the virus's enhancement, their recovery was faster; aside from the more severely affected areas, they had largely recovered by the time the viral risks were addressed.

They were still bandaged, but as long as there was no risk of infection, they could move around freely.

"Bore needs us to find the White Curtain. Do you have any leads?" Allen asked Matt while eating dinner. Matt was the first to contact the White Curtain.

"No, it's not something we absolutely have to find." Matt shook his head. He didn't want to look for the White Curtain; in his opinion, the White Curtain was the one who was hiding his true intentions.

  It's best to avoid people like that if possible. As for the Dream Management Bureau… joining was unavoidable;

after all, he was fooled by that scumbag. Here, he'll inevitably encounter more Dream-related incidents in the future. Matt no longer thinks Dreams are so great.

Even collecting a lot of things is useless because of Dream Erosion; he can't bring them out. The more greedy he is, the more severe the Dream Erosion.

Wearing clothes when leaving a Dream will cause Dream Erosion damage.

The only gain is the virus enhancement he's received now. Therefore, when signing the agreement, Matt learned a lot of information from Borei, including some taboos related to Dreams. What

he needs to do now is quickly adjust his state so he won't have to face the monsters in the sewers anymore, but he'll have to face Dream-related incidents.

Normal Dream incidents are handled by the police, but if a Dream gets out of control, the Management Bureau needs to intervene. These incidents are assessed by the Management Bureau. Take

the case of Thor in the sewers, for example. The Dream Out of Control was handled very well, but that was because someone cleaned it up beforehand. Thor, who should have been highly mutated, had his mutation controlled because he was injected with a large dose of vaccine.

After learning the follow-up, Matt and the others realized how lucky they were, which was why Matt didn't really want to go looking for the White Curtain.

"This might affect our future path to advancement,"

Eller emphasized. He used to be a gold prospector, and naturally, he wanted more before taking action. Once he started, he would act according to a customized plan and rarely took risks beyond the plan. An

overly greedy gold prospector can't go far. He might get rich once or twice because of luck, but once he failed, there might not be a next time. They hadn't even started yet, and Eller wanted more.

"We don't even know what the Disposal Bureau is all about," Matt shook his head. After suffering a big loss once, he was much more cautious. Unlike Eller, he and Buddy had to work hard to 'pay back their debts' after accepting the Dream Disposal Bureau's help.

"Alright." Seeing that Matt really didn't have such thoughts, Eller didn't bring it up again. This wasn't something he could handle alone, and besides, he knew very little about Bai Mu's personal information. Finding him wouldn't be easy... right?

"Boss Matt, are you really not going to look for him?"

"Look for what? This is nothing for us to care about. Besides, we don't know anything about him. All I know is the contents of a piece of paper."

Matt glanced at his underlings. All Bai Mu had left him was a piece of paper for registration. He had already given the form to Borei, and Matt hadn't even asked for anything when he gave it to him.

  That thing was completely useless.

If it weren't for the Dream of the Otherworld, those things would be waste paper to Matt, like temporary cleaners he recruited—used and then discarded.

And what good would finding Bai Mu do them? They were illegally dragged into the Dream of the Otherworld... They were newcomers; they should just do their own thing.

Want upward mobility? There would be plenty of opportunities later.   Looking for someone in Sukkur todayWilling to lie about how we met  "

—Fifteen yuan for vegetables, I don't know if that's expensive or cheap."

Bai Mu carried two large bags of groceries home. Looking at the ingredients, he scratched his head. Unlike some protagonists in stories who possess excellent culinary skills,

he could only cook enough for himself; a lavish meal was out of the question.

Later that night, Bai Mu ate his first meal since arriving in this world. The furniture in this place didn't need replacing, and he didn't need to add anything since he was alone.

The key was that what he wanted to add was completely unavailable!

There was a light bulb, but that was all he had. What he wanted was a computer and internet access.

After cleaning up the dishes, Bai Mu scratched his cheek, feeling utterly defeated.

In the alternate dream, facing threats like zombies, his urge to connect to the internet and play on his phone had been suppressed.

Now, back in a normal environment, he felt lost whenever he had free time.

So, what should he do next?

Looking at the time, it was only eight o'clock. Going to sleep so soon? What a joke! For modern young people, the real nightlife is just beginning. Eight o'clock at night is practically eight in the morning before work!

"So boring. I'd rather stay in the alternate dream." After hesitating for a few minutes, Bai Mu decided to play with guns.

He'd brought back quite a few guns; it would be good to disassemble and practice them repeatedly. His phone?

He wasn't willing to waste its battery until he found a charger!

"Damn it, is there anything else interesting to do!" Bai Mu tossed aside the guns he'd reassembled many times and stretched .

He started doing push-ups on the floor .

Since he was bored anyway, he might as well test his physical endurance! He finally went to sleep around eleven o'clock, but even then, he was having trouble sleeping. Incidentally, the house where the alternate dream went out of control hadn't experienced any accidents.

Bai Mu slept until noon the next day. The room was exactly the same as yesterday.

After tidying up the guns on the sofa, Bai Mu checked the box containing the bio-virus and took the watch and other items he'd prepared the night before.

He went back to the dream experience store that had made him a fortune.

It was the same employee from yesterday, who greeted Bai Mu with a smile.

"Hello, my name is Lily," the employee introduced herself.

"Hello, my name is Bai Mu," Bai Mu replied, seeing that there weren't many customers around. He immediately took out a small bag: "I need to sell a few things here."

"Please come with me," Lily greeted another employee and led Bai Mu to the small room he had visited yesterday.

Familiar with the place, Bai Mu immediately took out the items and asked, "Don't you care about the origin of these things?"

Lily brought over a glass of water, put it down, and smiled, saying, "If they're non-controlled items, why should we care about their origin?"
