"If you step in," Sharn warned, glancing at Kaido, "then I'll have to use my full power."
He released a surge of air pressure, breaking the giants' twin sword waves, and flashed forward in an instant—appearing right before Dorry's forehead.
"Do you even realize," Sharn said with a smirk, "that this man's axe could split an island in half?"
Kaido grunted. "Tch. You just can't take a compliment, can you?"
"Do you think they can even scratch our defenses?" Sharn replied, flexing his claws.
Kaido's grin widened. "Of course not."
He laughed, dismissing his Haki and stepping back.
This wasn't his battle.
He understood now—Sharn wasn't fighting to kill. He was testing himself.
Years of constant dueling had honed Dorry and Brogy, but also trapped them.
Without true life-and-death battles, their Haki had stagnated.
