Chapter 64 - Get Up!

"Buddha's Radiance: Three Thousand Realms — Reign Over the World!"

Sengoku never thought he'd need to use his true technique against a rookie like Sharn.

Buddha shockwaves and Armament Haki surged together, threadlike veins merging into the golden shockwave forming in his palm.

This blow would crush the evil Black Dragon once and for all — anyone daring to inherit Rocks D. Xebec's world-conquering will deserved death ten thousand times over. No wonder this boy could subdue Kaido.

"When Dragon called to say you tricked your way into a Marine branch, freed Wolf and Molly — I thought it was coincidence," Sengoku thundered. "But now it's clear. You conquered Kaido with your ambition and used it to rally every criminal in the West Blue! Dragon was right — you're challenging the world itself. You want to devour it!"

His golden Buddha body expanded — one and a half times its usual height — every muscle gleaming under radiant light. The air itself shimmered with divine power. His left hand gathered light, his right cut through it — golden shockwaves entwined with the two Haki colors. This was the peak of Marine might — a deathblow worthy of the sea's strongest.

"Watch closely," Sengoku said, eyes burning gold even through his glasses. "You thought you were strong?"

Boom!

The shockwave roared forward, armed with supreme Haki. Many believed Marine admirals relied only on their fruits, but before a true fight, they understood — none of their Haki was weak. Sengoku, though known for his intellect, was a monstrous Mythical Zoan in his own right.

Above the port, Sharn answered with a searing heat beam that tore the heavens open. Flames streaked the sky as the black dragon descended upon Ohara. On the ground, chaos reigned.

Molly and Bogard clashed — Molly using the Push-Push Fruit to fling the marble flooring as if dancing on ribbons of stone. Wolf was surrounded by vice-admirals, yelling in pain as his massive body inflated further, almost floating.

And in a corner alley, Moria trembled, half in shadow.

"Why? Why am I so weak?" he screamed. "Are these people even human? I can't even stand their gaze!"

He cursed and fought his own shadow, forcing it to move, to fight alongside him.

Finally, it stood — his reflection rising from the ground, bats whirling in dark flocks around him.

He didn't yet realize that these so-called "monsters" could each command fleets or even nations.

Even in another timeline, his depressed, lazy self would still become a Warlord of the Sea.

It wasn't that Garp or Sengoku were too strong — it was that Moria, still a trainee, had stumbled straight into a battlefield of endgame bosses.

"Then I'll fight! All of you — DIE!" Moria howled. His shriek split the air as his shadow army joined the chaos.

From afar, Olivia covered Professor Clover's retreat, firing her rifle without pause.

"Some records are still on the ship — I'm going back!" Clover said, running into danger, determined to save their findings even at the cost of his life.

"I'll handle it!" Olivia jumped onto the boarding ramp despite a bullet grazing her arm and sprinted toward the ship.

Ohara had just begun deciphering the ancient language — a process meant to take eight years.

They couldn't imagine that this battle would bring forward the revelation of truth — and change the world's fate forever.

Boom!

The archaeological vessel veered off course as the fighting raged.

Sharn's compressed, accelerated breath turned flame and lightning into a superheated sphere — temperature and voltage multiplied.

The pressurized blast pierced the night sky like a spear of violet fire.

"Don't you dare harm this island — home of the Tree of Knowledge!" Sengoku's voice thundered.

"Here lies humanity's collected wisdom — the flame of civilization itself! You pirates, you'd burn centuries of learning for greed?"

He swung his gilded fist — a thousand golden lights shattered Sharn's heat beam.

The Buddha's Haki met compressed inferno head-on; Haki reigned supreme.

But what if Haki and fruit combined?

Professor Clover turned back, heart pounding. "Vice Admiral Sengoku must protect Ohara!" he said.

How could he have known — years later, it would be Sengoku himself who ordered Ohara's destruction under the Buster Call.

"Professor, hurry!" the scholars cried. "With Sengoku here, the pirates can't destroy the island! Olivia will be fine — the coast near the ship is protected by the Marines!"

"They won't survive this!"

At the port, Moria no longer cared who was friend or foe. "Lose your shadows, all of you!" he shouted, swapping places with his shadow and ambushing Marines in darkness — mastering his fruit instinctively.

"Don't interfere with the captain's fight!" Molly cried. "Sharn's such a cute boy!" She launched Bogard into a column of concrete with a push.

Wolf roared, swinging a warship like a club, smashing Marine vice-admirals in his reach.

Above, Garp pummeled Kaido again and again — his iron fists shattering even the alloy kanabō.

"Damn it! Is this all I've got?" Kaido spat blood. "So this is my limit? Am I helpless before an Admiral?"

He fell from the sky, coughing blood, body battered — the dragon gone, only a man left.

He saw Sharn — the Black Dragon struck square in the brow by Sengoku's Buddha fist.

The flames died. Smoke rose from Sharn's mouth as he plummeted.

He crashed beside Kaido, reverting to human form.

The captain and vice-captain lay sprawled, eyes open to the golden figure towering above.

So even they — with all their might — couldn't yet surpass an Admiral?

Pathetic.

The horizon still showed no sign of sunrise.

Then how could they fall here?

Boom!

Both hit the earth, cratering the coast. Their minds rang, vision darkening.

Yet from deep inside, unwillingness roared louder than pain — their shared will exploding outward as twin surges of Conqueror's Haki.

Marines across the harbor fainted instantly.

"Sharn!!"

"Kaido!!"

Both screamed together — their voices one thunderous roar that shook the sea.

"GET UP!!!"
