"You call those axes strong?"
Silver Axe roared, swinging his double-bladed weapon with brutal force. His strikes tore through stone and air alike — raw power incarnate.
"Is that so? I'd say your axe is what's getting in your way!"
Jabba grinned, his mirrored sunglasses catching the firelight.
He held a hand axe in each hand, moving with effortless rhythm — a fighter born to battle.
Among Roger's "Gold, Silver, and Bronze" trio, Jabba was "Bronze."
Of course, that nickname was given later by the Navy to obscure Roger's "D."
But it also symbolized the birth of the first true elite pirate crew in history.
"Your strength isn't even enough to shake my axe!"
Silver Axe clenched his teeth and unleashed the full might of the Power-Power Fruit.
The ground quaked. One swing split the earth apart — houses collapsed, the terrain itself split open.
"You underestimate human potential!"
Jabba caught the axe with both hands, his advanced Haki hard as steel. Sparks flew. The clash shook the ruins.
"Damn it! Where the hell am I now!?"
Kaido had blundered straight into their duel.
Ever since Whitebeard joined Roger's battle with Garp, their fight had escalated into world-ending chaos.
That very clash was what caused the earthquakes across God Valley.
The side effect? Garp was now free — and he had chosen to chase Linlin and Kaido instead.
And Garp wasn't alone. His adjutant, Bogard, that quiet man in a small hat, turned out to be a master swordsman.
Kaido had barely adapted to his new Mythical Zoan — the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon (Uo Uo no Mi, Seiryu) — before being beaten black and blue all across the island.
Linlin had already fled on her thundercloud Zeus, shouting something about stealing treasure.
Kaido was left alone — beaten and miserable.
It was a grudge he'd carry for life.
If he couldn't kill Garp one day, he'd make sure to beat his descendants instead.
BOOM!
Unfortunately, he had now stumbled into the clash between Silver Axe and Jabba — two physical monsters.
Their battle wasn't as large-scale as the Shock-Shock or Island-Island Fruits, but it was no less devastating.
"What monstrous Haki…"
Kaido had been part of the Rocks Pirates for six years now — long enough to witness countless monsters.
To him, the only ones with overwhelming strength were Rocks and Whitebeard.
But now… there were others.
Roger.
Shiki.
All of them defied reason.
Even if Kaido's Oni bloodline and strength were enhanced by the Power-Power Fruit, he still wasn't satisfied.
He wanted something beyond brute strength.
As he clashed into their fight, Kaido watched — seeing firsthand the terror of Haki against a Devil Fruit.
Silver Axe's swings could level mountains, while Jabba's counterattacks proved Haki's might was no less divine.
Their battle reached its peak.
Silver Axe crashed straight into Kaido, knocking the air from his lungs. Jabba's follow-up elbow nearly rattled his brain out of his skull.
"Damn it!"
Kaido would one day be called "the strongest creature alive,"
—but not yet.
Here at God Valley, even with his dragon powers, he was still just another small fry.
There were too many monsters.
"Kaido!"
Sharn burst through the chaos, fists glowing. He'd fought his way here, and the first thing he saw was Kaido's dazed face.
"Sharn!"
Kaido was shocked — he hadn't expected the black dragon from before to be him.
"Watch out for Garp!"
Kaido's spiked club was soaked in blood — some of it his own.
"Got it!"
In the deafening chaos, they could barely hear each other shout.
The Demon Compass spun again — then stopped.

"1-2-3! 3-2-1! I'll take them all!"
Sharn's eyes gleamed. From this moment on — every Celestial Dragon would die.
It didn't matter if the Five Elders tried to save them.
Or the God Knights.
Or the Navy itself.
They all would fail.
Not a single pig-headed "god" would leave this island alive.
Choice 1 meant he had to live through the war.
Choice 3 would be for later — his own freedom.
But first, Choice 2.
The Celestial Dragons weren't few. Many were still hidden — others already being evacuated under guard.
This, Sharn knew, was one reason Garp would later refuse to talk about the God Valley Incident — because he had helped save Celestial Dragons.
Yes, he'd stopped Rocks from becoming "King of the World"…
but the Celestial Dragons survived, and their tyranny lasted decades longer.
So many tragedies were born from that.
By the timeline, this was long before the horrors of Fisher Tiger, Ginny, and Tesoro.
Even Ginny, who later died of Blue Scale Disease, never saw the day Tiger climbed the Red Line.
The thirty-nine Celestial Dragons Sharn had already killed were just the beginning.
Hundreds had joined this "Extermination Game."
Even the God Knights had sent their elites, and one of the Five Elders oversaw it all.
Over a hundred nobles were on this island.
"Akainu destroyed Ohara's ships to prevent evidence…" Sharn thought.
"I'll do it first — search every house, every ship. Leave no survivors."
He brushed past Kaido, the Compass whispering in his ear:
[Choice Complete.]
The time for rewards had come.
Save the Celestial Dragons?
Keep dreaming.
Let them die — hopeless and screaming.
"Where are you going?" Kaido called, running beside him.
He noticed Sharn looked taller now — broader, fiercer — and was searching for something.
"Found it!"
They passed Jabba and Silver Axe's roaring duel and reached a half-collapsed block.
A fat noble in slave rags hid trembling in a corner — his round face betraying him instantly.
Sharn kicked.
The man didn't even understand why.
Blood spattered. The first head rolled.
Kaido watched, eyes wide — realizing that man had been a Celestial Dragon.
He didn't get it. The battlefield was full of monsters — why bother killing trash?
Curiosity kept him following as Sharn hunted more.
One by one, the nobles fell — no bodies left intact.
After scouring half the island, Sharn's gaze locked on the harbor.
"You planning to steal a ship to escape?" Kaido asked. He'd thought about that too.
After all, Linlin would later wonder where Kaido disappeared to after the war.
If Rocks fell, everyone would form their own crew.
But Sharn's eyes burned with something else.
"I'm not escaping. I'll witness the birth of the next era — with my own eyes!"
He stormed aboard a Marine battleship — Kaido smashing the soldiers aside.
Inside the cabin, over a dozen Celestial Dragons huddled together.
It was Sengoku's ship.
Those not already killed on the island were hiding here, trembling, ordering the ship to depart — but the vessel hadn't moved.
"You useless pigs! I said get us off this cursed island!"
Saint Paige shouted, veins bulging.
BANG!
The door burst open. Sharn stepped in — his fists dripping with blood.
"You… what do you think you're doing, pirate!? The Admirals will hunt you to your death!"
Saint Paige's voice cracked, trembling with fear.
He could smell the blood — and saw death in Sharn's eyes.
BOOM!
The deck exploded above them — the golden light of Sengoku the Buddha broke through, illuminating the chamber.
For the Celestial Dragons, hope had returned.
Kaido stood behind Sharn, gripping his spiked club.
"So it's true… killing these pigs brings trouble."
He shifted into hybrid form — Oni horns twisting, dragon horns growing beside them.
"You scared, Kaido?" Sharn asked, raining bloodied fists on the nobles.
Screams and curses filled the cabin.
"What's there to fear? I'll fight Admirals one day anyway!" Kaido grinned, his sharp teeth flashing.
Moments later, Sharn emerged from the ship. Every Celestial Dragon aboard was dead. His fists were crimson to the wrist.
From this moment on — no matter who won the battle —
the Celestial Dragons had already lost.
"You realize," Sengoku said, his golden aura blazing, "that what you've done will bring disaster to the Marines… to the entire world!"
"Who cares?" Sharn laughed wildly. "Let it all burn. The world's tired."
"Hah! He's right!" Kaido roared in laughter. "This world's boring as hell anyway!"
"Your existence will only cause more chaos," Sengoku thundered.
And in that blinding golden light —
the sky once again became the sky of the Celestial Dragons.
