Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: What? Harry Potter Was the One Who Opened the Chamber of Secrets?

"This was actually just an entertainment question, and its answer inherently carries a touch of humor.

If it were a serious question, then Mr. Dumbledore's previous answer would have been correct."

"So that's it!" Dumbledore suddenly remembered what he had said before about this being a non-serious question.

It turned out he hadn't been wrong after all — it was simply the nature of the question itself.

He thought to himself, as someone who understood Slytherin and the House of Malfoy so well, how could he possibly have been mistaken?

Draco also let out a sigh of relief. So, it was just for entertainment, meant to tease them.

Good thing, good thing. He almost actually thought he liked Harry.

But why, after knowing he didn't like Harry, was there still a faint hint of disappointment?

Harry, too, inwardly sighed with relief.

Good. It's good to be wrong.

"What a pity! So, Draco liking Harry was the wrong answer."

"I really thought I'd get to see the two of them together in my lifetime."

"Exactly! This could've been the start of Slytherin and Gryffindor reconciliation!"

"But we can still help them fall in love for real."

Outside, the young wizards of Gryffindor and Slytherin looked at each other after hearing that.

Their gazes were filled with excitement and mischief — everything they wanted to say was already in their eyes.

Inside the Question & Answer Space, Aiden's card changed again.

Then, new cards appeared in the hands of the seven people standing on the high platform.

"When the game ends, the reward will be automatically sent to you, Mr. Lockhart."

"Alright, alright, it's fine. I'm not someone who cares about rewards," Lockhart said, flashing his brilliant white teeth.

Unfortunately, Aiden was not one of those witches who'd be enchanted by him.

"Next, we officially begin our quiz game. First, a friendly reminder — in the following questions, only the first three people to buzz in can answer.

If you answer incorrectly, there will be punishments, but please rest assured, the Question & Answer Space will absolutely not make things difficult for you."

"Can we really rest assured?"

All seven people on the high platform had the same thought.

After what had just happened, they already had a certain opinion of this place — this was not a very serious Question and Answer Space.

Anyone who believed what it said would surely end up being miserably tricked.

"Alright, since you all agree, please listen to the next question."

[The Chamber of Secrets was opened fifty years ago, causing the death of a Hogwarts student and almost leading to the closure of the school. So, who opened the Chamber of Secrets at that time?]

[A. Rubeus Hagrid]

[B. Harry Potter]

[C. Ginny Weasley]

[D. Tom Riddle]

"Please answer!"

As soon as the words fell, and the question appeared on the cards, three bright green lights flashed instantly.

Aiden looked closely.

Oh, Merlin. The three who buzzed in first were Dumbledore, Lockhart, and Draco.

Draco's face turned red. He was certain he'd get this one right.

Did they even need to ask who opened the Chamber?

He had just experienced this whole situation — how could he not know the answer?

Without even thinking twice, he confidently chose his answer.

"I choose B. The answer is that Harry Potter was the one who opened the Chamber of Secrets!"

Draco said it proudly, beaming as if he'd known it all along.

Everyone froze.

They all turned to stare at Draco with complicated expressions — most of which clearly said: Is he serious?

"Do you think Draco's brain is alright?"

"That's hard to say. Maybe he loves Harry so much he just blurted out his name."

"Now that you mention it, I remember that last question... maybe Draco really has some issues with his head."

"You have a point. Who in their right mind would choose Harry Potter? Did he even exist fifty years ago?"

"Exactly! Did Draco not even read the question properly?"

Blaise suddenly whispered to the other Slytherins around him, "That... that can't be, right? Draco's not that stupid... right?"

Pansy Parkinson replied weakly, "Well... maybe?"

Draco, sensing something was wrong, hadn't even had the chance to recheck the question when the humanoid figure in the center spoke:

"Draco, incorrect answer. Your punishment is to dance on the high platform. Immediate execution."

As soon as the words fell, Draco's limbs began moving on their own, flailing uncontrollably as he danced wildly.

"Ah! Ahhh! Noooo!"

Losing face in front of his arch-enemy was torture.

How could Harry Potter not have been the one who opened the Chamber?

Draco's mind spun in confusion — it wasn't until he finished his humiliating dance and looked back at the question that realization hit him.

The phrase 'fifty years ago' was right there.

Well… that was awkward.

"Look at Draco's face!"

"I didn't expect him to actually be that stupid — buzzing in without reading the question!"

"Perhaps... he really does love Harry deeply."

The Gryffindor wizards burst out laughing fearlessly, while the Slytherins looked equally frustrated but vengeful — clearly planning future payback.

"Draco, next time you must pay attention and read the questions carefully," Dumbledore said with a wink.

"Being too hasty can cause trouble."

Aiden looked at the others. "So, you two — who wants to go next?"

He glanced at Dumbledore, thinking that if the old wizard answered incorrectly and had to dance, he'd probably enjoy it.

After all, inside that old body lived a playful child.

"How about you go first, Gilderoy?" Dumbledore said kindly, smiling in that I'm doing this for your own good way.

Lockhart's smile froze. He didn't want to embarrass himself like Draco.

Just look at him — he'd practically turned into a performing monkey.

But still...

"Alright, Dumbledore!" Lockhart said quickly, though he clearly had no choice in the matter.
