Allen stared at both Selina and Rey, completely speechless as they fixed their gazes on him.
"Did you two hook up?" Rey's voice cut through the air like a blade.
"Where exactly did you end up last night?" Selina jumped in immediately after.
"Damn it, meeting you two was definitely bad luck for me!"
Allen snapped. Usually, nobody would have the nerve to grill him like this.
Too bad Rey happened to be his uncle, and Selina was Evelin's closest friend.
He couldn't exactly throw them both out and give them a beating.
Allen was on the verge of losing his temper completely. "Selina, you've got some nerve asking me that. I was wasted last night, and you're the one who hauled me back here. Now you're interrogating a guy who was completely trashed about where he crashed? Seriously, you're incredible!"
Rey whipped around to face Selina, his gaze sharpening. "You drove while intoxicated?"
"No way, I got someone else to drive us," Selina stammered, nearly stumbling over her own words.
