Evelin's POV
I darted between the two brawling men, swiftly intercepting both their swings.
The moment I burst in, both men instinctively dropped their fists and froze mid-fight.
"What the hell are you two doing?" I demanded.
The second I'd stepped outside, I'd spotted Jimmy and Allen throwing punches, and they weren't pulling any punches either.
Selina rushed over, grabbing my arm. "I should be asking you that. What were you thinking, jumping in there? Have you lost your mind? They were going at it hard. What if one of their punches caught you when you rushed in?"
Her tone was sharp, but worry laced every word.
"Since I went in, I can handle myself and won't get hurt," I said.
Even if Jimmy and Allen hadn't stopped in time, I could've dealt with it.
"Fine, but your safety comes first, no matter what!" Selina said firmly.
All she wanted was for me to stay safe.
"Got it," I replied. "But why were they fighting?"
