Thomas stood back up aura flaring violently. He though :Damn… I'm exhausted.The samurai's voice answered:"We've been going hard since the moment the battle began.Your power, like a body needs, rest."Thomas shook his head."I can't rest. The people are counting on me."The samurai smiled."That's the Thomas I know."Thomas flared again refusing to fall and rushed toward Lucifer.But in the corner of his eye, he saw Water crouched over Fire's body one half fifty feet away from the other.Thomas whispered:"No…"He charged Lucifer who floated in the air, wings twitching like living beasts.The wings sensed Thomas lunged at him.Thomas jumped high, grabbed a wing, and threw Lucifer to the ground.Thomas landed on Lucifer ready to strike but Lucifer's wings grabbed both of Thomas's arms.Lucifer's horns grew stabbing toward Thomas's face.Then toward his throat.The samurai screamed:"RETREAT!"Thomas twisted dodged the horn and used Lucifer's body as leverage to break free.
Lucifer's wings lifted his dangling body again.Thomas gasped:"I can't get a clean hit on him."The samurai replied:"This opponent is nothing like I've ever seen."Then Luke appeared behind Lucifer and cut a wing clean off.Lucifer didn't see it coming.The severed wing hit the ground rolled then shriveled like rotten fruit.Lucifer opened his eyes now red snake eyes and screamed:"DAMN YOU MORTALS!!!"He smacked Luke away with his remaining wing.Blaze rushed in cut the other wing off.Lucifer screamed again horns stretching out like serpents chasing Blaze.Blaze dodged, sprinting, rolling the horns seemed endless.Water dropped from above slicing both horns off in one clean motion.Lucifer roared grabbed Water by the neck."You've caused enough damage already."Light appeared punching Lucifer in the back freeing Water. Lucifer staggered then screamed:"You do not know TRUE POWER YET!" The moon glowed red.Mist rose across the battlefield.Lucifer's skin shifted scales forming black and red crawling across his body and half his face.His eyes turned bright yellow snake‑like.Two massive wings erupted from his back real wings this time matching his scaled skin.His horns grew rapidly curling like a giant goat's.Lucifer hovered into the sky."Now you will know REAL power."The heroes braced themselves stunned."No one has lived long enough to see this form," Lucifer said."Consider yourselves lucky."He vanished then reappeared faster than before.He grabbed Blaze by the neck flew high into the air Blaze gasping, choking until Blaze passed out.Lucifer dropped him at the heroes' feet."That's one less I have to deal with."Ace ran to Blaze checked his pulse."He's breathing… barely."Ace carried Blaze toward safety.Lucifer snarled "Where do you think you're going with my trophy?!"He flew at Ace but Thomas stepped in front.Lucifer speared Thomas, sending him sliding across the dirt the trail long enough to look man‑made.Lucifer pinned Thomas."Why fight me, Thomas? We can rule together."Thomas spat blood."Never.""You will one day."Lucifer began pounding Thomas's face each blow shaking the earth Thomas's aura flickering his eyes rolling back blood spraying with each hit.Luke rushed behind tried to cut a wing Lucifer dodged and flew upward."That won't work twice, cockroach."Luke stood over Thomas's half‑buried body."If you want him… you'll have to kill me first."Lucifer grinned."Glad to."He flew at Luke spinning dodging Luke's blade grabbed Luke and dragged him across the battlefield."Your blood will feed the dead!"Luke spat a hidden blade from his mouth slashed Lucifer's throat.Lucifer released him floated up touching the wound.Luke rolled in the dirt, satisfied.Lucifer looked shocked.Then normal.Then smiling wickedly.The wound healed instantly.Lucifer roared:"You really thought that could kill me, Luke?!You must not know who I am. I AM THE SUPREME RULER OF THIS WORLD!!!"
