After successfully changing the access code, Cain and Luna headed toward the others who were waiting inside the storage warehouse, a floor above the basement where the water roared endlessly below.

The ding of the elevator echoed in Cain's ears as the doors slid open before him. 

He stepped inside and was greeted by a dimly lit space filled with dozens, hundreds of massive metal racks stretching upward toward a ceiling tens of meters above the floor.

The gray-haired boy raised an eyebrow, wondering just how deep this place truly was.

Like the reservoir, this facility wasn't just vast; it was immense. It spiraled downward, forming an eternal, pristine flow of water untouched by human hands.

On the other hand, this storage warehouse had enough space to house thousands of refugees in the event of a disaster.

Yet now, it was lifeless. Empty.

Filled only with memories preserved as equipment and abandoned relics of the past.
